45. Reality #14

Y/N's POV

           I place my phone on the table and sigh. I'm really regretting this. I just got Guanlin's trust back and now this? I'm such a bad Friend... But is it really because of that I'm regretting?

             "Y/n, you okay?" Jihoon asked me as he stands in front of me.

             "Yeah I'm fine..." I replied and he still looked concerned.

              We were at Seri's house devoting for the surprise party that will start at 5. We started decorating since 11 and now is 1 o'clock.

              "If you want we can take a break... We did start decorating since morning. We're almost done so don't worry,"

              "No, really I'm fine. Where do we hang the birthday sign?"

"We should hang it there," he points at railing from the second floor.

I nod and walk up the stairs. Seri lived in a huge house in case you don't know. She's really rich. Her parents are busy on a business trip. So we used her house.

"Ah, Y/n!" When I reached the second floor I saw Seri's Brother, Kim Donghyun.

"Donghyun Oppa!" I smiled.

The last time I saw him was when he gave me the carnival tickets. He looked dressed. Is he going on a date?!

"Are you going on a date?" I asked and shook his head.

"I'm meeting Youngmin and Sewoon today," he said smiling.

                  "But isn't today your shift?"

                 "My shift? What are you talking about? We change shifts remember?"

"Huh?!"

Wait that's right... I did change shifts we him. Last week when me and Guanlin hasn't made up. Shit! Oh noooooo....

"You should get going before you're late..." he reminds me.

I head towards the stairs. "Jihoon! Jihoon! I'm sorry but- Ah!" I slipped and I was falling.

Luckily Jihoon caught me. "Y/N! You scared me!"

I stood up and apologised. "I'm sorry! But I need to go... I forgot I have shift today!"

"What?"

"I'm really sorry! The cake is at the kitchen so take it out later. I might not be home until seven or something."

"Y/N, y/n calm down. You'll make it in time."

He calms me down. I took a deep breath and calm myself down. I am calm...

"It's okay I'd be sure to tell Guanlin. Be careful on the way to the cafe. I don't want you to get hurt. You're very important to me,"

I felt my heart flutter when he gave me the serious eyes. He really does have beautiful eyes. I can get lost in them.... WHAT THE SHIT Y/N! Put it together. You lil shit.

"Thanks Jihoon. You're important to me too,"

He blushed. I think. I'm not sure. He's important to me anyways. Without him, Donghyun might eat the cake. I smiled at him and left the house in an hurry.

Guanlin's POV

I waited outside the cinema. Where's y/n? I get it she's always late but she's TOO late... she wasn't picking up my calls either... did something happened?

"Guanlin!"

I turn around. It wasn't y/n. It was Seri. What's she doing here?

"Seri? What're you doing here?"

"Didn't Y/n tell you?"

I shook my head.

"She can't come."

What? But... maybe there's a reason. Something more important than my birthday.

"She's hanging out with Jihoon today!"

Jihoon? Why would she... of course... She likes him right? After that night... What was I thinking? Of course she's choose him over me any time. I couldn't be with her that night.

"Shall we go then?"

Seri smiled. Seri was probably forced to take Y/N's Place. I'm sorry for her... I... Y/n... just why?

Time skip~

             Since I'm with Seri today, I can't watch the horror film with her... she's a bit of a scaredy cat... but I wonder why she insist...

"Ah!" We both screamed.

Okay fine... We're both scaredy cats. That's why I wanted to watch it with Y/n. She's so cute when she watches horror films. She laughs when it's scary... even tho the person is dying....

"Guanlinnie I'm scared..." I hear Seri mumbled as she holds my arm...

I'm scared too Seri. But I must be a man and protect her! Holy shit the clown is back.

"Don't b-be s-s-scare- Holly IT!" I screamed.

The clown appeared again. Everyone weren't looking at us. Why? Cause they were couples! Either the girl Friend or Boyfriend is hugging them for comfort... is this God's way of telling me that I need to find a Girlfriend?!

"It's fine... I'm here don't be scared." I comfort Seri, trying my best to be brave too.

Honestly, I wanted to confess to Y/n today... That's why i didn't invite Seri... but then...

"Guanlin."

I turn my head to face Seri again. Her face was closed to mine. Then, she move forward. Like that, We kissed.

I swear to god I couldn't focus on the whole movie.

In the end, Seri acted like it never happened.
