I don't remember what we were talking about, but our group in math was chatting about something around the beginning of class, and all of a sudden, he looks at me and says, "The twenty-eighth." A, not understanding what he was trying to say, replies, "No, today's the twenty-sixth." But he just shook his head and pointed at me. "The twenty-eighth . . . of this month. That's your birthday, right?" And I was so shocked that he remembered that I could only nod and say, "Sunday." A lot of my friends forget about the exact day my birthday is on, which is probably why I was so surprised, especially since a lot of them I've known since elementary school, and I've only known him for three months. But remembering a person's birthday isn't really a big deal. He probably just has a good memory, that's all. Or he was unsure of the date and was just taking a random guess. It's not a big deal . . . but it made me happy.
