Tip-tap is what I hear as the rain hits my window pane

Hearing the sound of the drops of H2O is the sweetest lullaby on this night

My greatest joy would be to dance and feel the drops fall against my face

To show that I can stand the weather

I hold myself closed together as I walk out the door

The sound of the beats travel to my soul

As the beat takes me over the real me is what all who sees will see

Let me show you who I really am on the inside of this body

Watch for my inside soul to sink out onto the ground

Watch the way I glide

Feet so fast and slick that they drive heads crazy enough to where they can't keep up

The quickness I contain is rediculous

In the night I'm known as the night dancer

The nighttime darkness with a glimpse of light from a lamp post

Don't need to see my face because my body will tell what you need to see

Body rockin to the left as I keep my eyes to the right

Eyes hidden with grey lenses

Even if its dark I like the comfort they give me

Hips distract you more than all the words I could say

Body language is the only language I'm speaking and using as my communication method

The way I move brings a vibe that I don't normally feel

The beat is what I'm feeling busting and boiling in my veins

Heart pounding as the bass hits against me

Music drags my soul into a world that I feel the most alive in

Blanks in my mind as the only words I hear are turn it up

Turn the clock off and keep the time still

My name is Nighttime dancer

I live the dance life I breathe in musical air
