After the man left, I left my room and went out.  I was hungry and wanted some food, so I walk to the front desk and ask where the closest place to get something to eat.  She told me that around the corner, there was a McDonalds. I left the hotel and walk towards the direction of McDonald's.

I got to McDonald's and bought myself a big mac meal.  I eat my food in the building.

"Oh, look at this cutie guys," a male spoke from behind me.

I finish eating my food and gather my trash all while ignoring the men.  someone grabs my arm from behind me and forces me to turn around.

"I think it is polite to turn to the people talking to you," the growls out.

"Sorry, didn't think i heard anyone but the wind talking," I speak out.

"That's not very nice," the one who is holding my arm says.

"Let go of me, and we won't have a problem," I tell, with a threatening tone.

"OOOOO, the girl has an attitude, maybe we can teach her a lesson," Another one spoke out.

I kick the one that was holding me in the balls and then turn attention to the other two.  I quickly calculate my chances of winning, very slim.  I run out of the place and rush back to the hotel.  I was almost to the hotel when they caught up to me.

They toss me to the ground like I was a rag doll. I try to get up, but one of them pushes me down with their leg.  Another starts to kick me, while the other one is looking through the bag that he has. I curl up in a ball, trying to protect most of my vital organs.

A car screeches to a stop, making the men stop what they are doing.

"Get away from her!" another male that sounds slightly familiar.

"Why should we?" the one that was kicking me states.

I try to focus on what was going on in front of me, but my eyes start to go blurry, and my breathing hitches up a panic attack.   After who knows how long, I fell someone touching me gently.

"Why do we keep meeting when you are unconscious?" the voice asks.

Its the guy that helped me at the hotel.

After a little while, my breathing calms down and I keep my eyes closed. I hear a door open and I was set on something soft, then covered with something soft. I hear the person walk away and I just lay there, half-asleep.

"What use is powers if they don't always work when you need them to?" I mumble to myself.
