Hi people! I know, basic song lyric right now but I kinda like that song.
Sooo, something very exciting happened this Sunday, 18th of November 2018. The band I love since 2015 and that I wanted to see live ever since came to a concert venue close to where I live, in Dusseldorf. Guys, I saw them live and I still don't get along. The show was so great and Oli was fucking amazing, just like the rest of the band and also the two pre-acts. In the end, Oli gave me one out of two set lists and I caught a drumstick. I still can't believe it. I was standing in the front row, right next to the podium that they use for their shows. And I might sound like a 13 year old fangirl but I often had the impression that he really saw us and I still can't wrap my head around that. But I also had a price to pay and that was 9 hours in the cold, trying to keep myself warm somehow. And we weren't even the first ones to arrive there were people who literally stayed for 50 hours! That's so crazy... but because we were 6 concert friends in the end, the time went over really fast and it was actually quite fun. Post concert depression hit me hard yesterday and today but I hope to feel better soon. They also announced to play a few festivals in summer and I hope to see them at least once more next year. Sorry for all that spam but it was an experience I'll never forget. I've been to a few concerts already, including architects and the Amity Affliction but this was crazy, as I have been a fan for about 3 years now. The changed and influenced my life in so many ways I couldn't even find the words to describe what these people mean to me. They also helped me cope with mental health issues and stuff that I couldn't figure out. If they ever play a concert in your area, don't miss out they are literally amazing!
