Mello: *checks his phone and sees Near's conversation*....*groans a bit and clicks on the link he sent to the group*

Naomi: I see you got Near's coordinates. Should we head over there and see if we can-

Mello: We're not doing that...*looks at her* We got all of the information we need. We don't need Near's help to get back my mentor...

Naomi:...*sighs* Mello...I'm fully aware that you hate working with Near. But please...just think about it. If we work together, we can save L....don't you want that?

Mello:...Of course I do. But Near and I don't get along with each other. We were always enemies since we were small. Trying to become L's successor....And I want nothing more than to-

Naomi: Mello! You're not listening to me! Don't you understand??...L is in trouble...and right now...he needs our help more than ever...so don't let your selfishness get in the way. At least this once...

Mello:.....

Naomi; Please Mello...put your differences aside and let's all work together as a team to bring back L....

Mello:...*takes a few moments to think about it and finally decided to join forces*...Fine...just this once.

Naomi:...Thank you Mello. *contacts Near*

Matt: *had already fixed Angel's phone not to long ago* *checks the conversations and goes back to hacking the system*

Angel: *sleeping in Matt's sofa*...*murmurs L's name softly in her sleep*...L...

Matt: *hears her mention L's name and stops typing for a moment*......*sighs and looks at her from the kitchen smoking a cigarette*

Short Flashback...

L: Matt...between you and me...I know you have strong feelings for Miss Angel.....Am I correct?

Matt:....*nods* Yeah...I do...why? Does it bother you?

L:....I thought so. And if I'm being honest, yes. It does bother me. But...that's not the point why I called you here for........*looks at him for a moment*...Matt...I need you to do me a favor...

Matt:...A favor?..hold on. Let me guess. You want me to stay away from her? *places his hands in his pockets while smoking on a cigarette*

L:...No. *turns to look at the glass window*...Listen carefully. If something were to happen to me in the next couple of days, and I don't come back in one peace...I would want you to take good care of Miss Angel...*looks at him serious*...Promise me that...Matt.

End Of Flashback...

Matt:....*gets up and covers her with one of his blankets*....Don't worry Angel...if things don't go as planned, I promise I will take care of you...*gently places his hand on her cheek*

Angel: *sleeping peacefully but gently moves her hand closer to his hand. Thinking that it's L*

Matt:...*lightly blushes*

*phone vibrates*

Matt: *checks his phone and sees it's a message from Mello*

Mello: "Come to this area. It's time..."

Matt:....*stares at the message for a moment before looking back towards Angel*....

Later that Night...

Matt: *arrives at the location* So...this is the place huh?...*looks around and notices the hidden vehicles behind some bushes*

Mello: *sees Matt's car and quietly gives him a sign to come over*

Matt: *sees Mello's signal and goes to him*

Near: *In a van with a head set on* *contacts Mello* Mello...come in.

Mello: *touches a button from his ear* Yeah Near?

Near: Is everyone in there position? *playing with his hair while monitoring the TV screen in front of him*

Mello: *whispers lowly*...Yes. Give us the signal when it's safe to go inside.

Near: Understood. *turns to one of his workers* Gevanni. You're up.

Gevanni : *nods* Got it. *quickly enables all of the security systems in the building. Including the power.

Light: *looks around in the dark* What the-!? What happened to the lights??

Mikami: *takes his cellphone out for Light support* God! Are you alright!?

BB:...It looks like they found our location...*grins creepily*

Light:...*smirks* Perfect timing...let them in. This is exactly what I wanted to happen.

Mikami and BB: *do as they were plan to do*

Light: Let's finish this once and for all...*goes to hide in the shadows*

Mello: *turns to Matt* Alright Matt. This is were you come in....

Matt: I'm on it. *puts a motorcycle helmet on and takes his smoke gun out* *quickly runs inside and shoots each room there is inside the building*

Mello: Team A. Look for L. Team B, cover Matt and the rest of Team A. And don't forget to cover your faces and stay alarmed. Also make SURE no one escapes. Got it?

Everyone except Near & Matt: Understood!

Matt's Layer...

Angel: *finally wakes up after 32 minutes*...*yawns and looks around tired*...Matt...I just had the weirdest dream-....Matt? *gets up and noticed that Matt's gone*.....Mm....*quietly looks around to see if he's there but isn't*...Where did Matt run off too? *thinks for a moment and checks her phone*...

*logins to the group chat and sees a link* A link..?

Angel: ...*clicks it and reveals the location where L could be*....*sees a note sticking out from the couch and goes to reads it*

"Dear Angel,

if you're reading this, I will be back in a few hours. Help yourself with some food on the stove I made for you. I will be back shorty. Please don't go outside.

- Love Matt"

Angel:....*softly folds the paper in half and puts it on the table*....*looks at the door*....I'm sorry Matt...
