ethandolan: oh shit
nala looks up at ethan at the same time he looks at her and they both immediately start laughing. nala turns her phone off and goes to sit next to ethan instead of on the couch opposite of him. he scoots over and she plops right next to him. he wraps an arm around her and they sit like that for a while before ethan interrupts the silence.
"so gray and i were talking..." ethan starts. "we're gonna head back to la next week."
"ethan-"
"i know what you're gonna say, nala. my doctor gave me the confirmation. and plus, you have friends and a dog back home. you can't stay here with me forever. i think it's best for everyone." he finishes. nala looks away for a moment before facing him again, she has an uneasy look on her face but nonetheless nods in agreement.
"alright, ethan. but only because your doctor said so and i trust him."
"do you not trust me?" he pokes her in the side making her giggle and squirm into his side more.
"of course i trust you. but i also know you would put your fans first in many situations and i just need to know you're 100% okay to go back. they wouldn't want you working when you're not completely okay." nala explains to him. he smiles at her and thinks about how much he loves this girl.
"you know i love you, don't you?" he asks. she laughs and nods. she definitely knows that.
