Amber looked at her in shock "How do you know that?" Maggie looked at her "Why dont you know? The symtoms are right infront of you. Losing empathy, rage, loss of self awareness, despair, blood thirst..." Amber snapped "What is going on?!? Are you involved with this bullshit?!" Maggie looked up at her and smiled
"All your conciousness belongs to me. Everything around you is not real.. You are slipping from the real world... Everything will end.... Just... breathe... in....."
Amber looked down "Breathe in what?! Is there some kind of stuff in the air that makes people slowly die or something?!"
Maggie looked up "Not technically but"
"I have seen Joshua with another girl. Her name is Christina Winston. Short, pale skin, brown eyes, brown hair, kinda skinny, goes to our school and lives on Echo road, house 11037. She likes to hang out with Joshua alone.."
Amber got full of rage. She had a bigger problem
The next day at school was quiet. Blue Moon syndrome was still an obscure thing but everyone was aware of the disapeerances. It was creepy. Elizabeth and her friend Anna-Marie were investigating and interviewing whoever has heard of it. Elizabeth usually had a good judge of character and body language while Anna-Marie was good at finding out cases and analyzing. "We've been looking all over the place, why havent we found anything yet?!" Elizabeth said annoyed. "This happened less than a week ago, Liz. Theres only been one piece of news coverage so far." Anna-Marie said. They looked over at Joshua and Christina in the cafeteria. "Isnt that Brielles ex?" Elizabeth asked "The dead girl? Mhm" Anna-Marie answered. "Its so strange, theyve only broke up two days ago too. Now hes acting like she never existed at all" Elizabeth said. "Its sooo creepy I know. That guy always freaked me out anyway." Anna-Marie said shivering.
Meanwhile, Maggie and Amber were watching Christina from the other table. So sneaky, I know. "I hate her so much" Amber said under her breath. Maggie just observed with a blank face. "See ya Chris" Josh said as she left for her class while he was on his free. Maggie and Amber eventually had to get up for their class along with Christina, Elizabeth and Anna-Marie.
"Soon" Amber whispered to herself
