"Hey best!" my bestfriend Conner Santos yelled. "Pansinin mo ang gwapo mong bestfriend oh."

"Gwapo? Puh-lease," I said playfully. "Where? In the toenails?"

Conner, oh sweet Connor. You know guys, Connor defended me when I was still a little girl sitting on the swing getting bullied by the older, meaner girls. Connor was 7 that time, I was 5. Now he's 20-years-old but held back. He did that purposely, he said, "so that we can still be together" or so he says.

"And I was about to introduce you to Theo." he said feigning dissapointment.

I grabbed his collar, "Don't play with me, Santos. What about your brother?"

Theo Toby Santos. My bestfriend's fraternal twin. Oh and look at that! I have a crush on that boy. What a freaking coincidence.

"Chill out woman! It's not like he told me he likes you!"

"Shut. The. Fck. Up. Dude." I told him. I pouted to myself. Did I actually do something that pushy and weird? Ugh. I feel like a desperate btch. Maybe I am? Nope.

"Hey!" I saw the cousins, Deka and Vinz Lopez approach me.

"Hey." I answered back. Vinz raised an eyebrow or at least, tried to, "Anyare?"

"Tss. La lang Vinzoy. Wag magchismis." I told him.

"Vinzoy daw." he glared at me. Hahaha. When we were younger, Grade 6 precisely, we did a play. The acting mom, Trishetta, called her acting son Vinzoy. We've been calling him that ever since.

I giggled at the thought. All those years... We were all childhood friends. Oh memories.

"Bakit depressed?" Deka asked. I shrugged.

"Emo." sabi nila ng sabay. We all laughed.

"Seriously though..." Vinz's face turned deadly serious. "What happened?"

"Hmm..." I smiled, obviously forced. "Nothing Vinzie."

"What's with you and your nicknames?" he asked, frustrated.

"Hahahaha!" Deka laughed.

"Shut up YANYAN!"

"Shut up VINZOY!"

They would never stop fighting. Shaking my head, I stood up. Looked left. Looked right.

I tiptoed away. Those cousins always fight, but despite their attitude, they were good people.

I rolled my eyes at their obvious fighting.

Oh woe is me.

(Can you be patient?!)

I waited patiently for them to stop.

(Okay! Why'd you ditch us?)

(Yeah!)

Apparently now they were sharing. Wow. Claps.

"You guys annoy the hell outta me."

"Stop being dramatic. That didn't hit your huge egos!"

They said this together. I could hear Deka smacking Vinz and Vinz's muffled 'ouch'.

I ended the call.

Suddenly I heard two voices.

"You can't do that Connor!"

It was... Theo?

"I've known her longer than you, more than 9 years! Why'd she fall for you?!"

"Connor... Look, please, let me love her. Please."

"THEO! You -- you are stupid. I wish you died! Bakit ikaw ang minahal niya?! Bakit ikaw pa?!"

"Alam ko mahal mo si Mira pero mahal -- "
