It's been 2 months since Mary's funeral past. Zack looks like he's doing better.

You and Zack are sitting on the couch, side by side. You sneeze and he looks down at you.

"Bless you." He smiles.

"Thank you." You smile back. The mood of the apartment has been pretty good lately. Nothing gloomy or sad has happened and you hope it stays that way.

When you sit up, grabbing it off the coffee table. Its your boss. "Hello sir. How may I help you." you quit being the janitor of the school after the incident, you're still currently looking for a job, but you're not entirely sure why your old boss still has your number.

"Yes,  hello (Y/N) I wanted to know if he were serious about quitting." This again.

"Yes I was serious." did you of you go at it arguing and your old boss threatening your future career before he was able to get through his last sentence you hang up putting your phone down.

Zack raises an eyebrow "Everything ok?"

"Yes."

"Ok"

The next 20 minutes is just silence, nothing really going on. Zack turns the channel to the news and on the news apparently 3 men have been found brutally murdered, the 3 men have been identified as of now if they are still looking for the murderer. They suspect that the one that murdered the woman 2 months previously is the same one that murdered these 3 men. Don't feel all that's sad because these 3 men were apparently dealing with drug smuggling and human trafficking.

"Gross world we live in,  right?" He looks at the T.V a sad look on his face.

"Yeah but at least you and I are safe from all that stuff." You smile kissing him on the check.

~3 weeks later~

You sit at the kitchen table, looking through ads, trying to find a job. Zack puts a cup of coffee in front of you. You grab it taking a large gulp.

"Still looking for a job? You know, you don't need one, I can look after you. I can provide you with everything you need."

You shack your head no. "I can't let you do that, sorry." you reach your hand up cupping his face. "I love you but I ain't no stay at home wife."

If you laugh and so does Zack. He puts his hand over. "If you can't find a job in the next 3 days you just might have to live like one." He joked.

"Ha ha, real funny. Speaking of jobs. You still have on, remember?"

"Oh,  Yeah!  I forgot. Hehe"

"Wow. You are hopeless." He smiled at you bending down to kiss you. "I love you,  (Y/N)  (Y/L)."
