I stepped through the door expecting a greeting a punch, slap ,something. But instead I was greeted by my mother's screams coming out of the kitchen. I wanted to help her to make him stop but then I remembered all the times she'd watch him hit me like it was sick television show. I quickly made my way up the stairs and into my room as I collapsed on my bed hoping he didn't
notice me. I broke down crying listening this my mother's screams as he continues to hit her. you would think someone would hear and call for help but my father was to well known no one dared to tell. This just made me madder as I start to drift off to sleep as my eyes run dry. when I heard something that literally broke my heart. The screams of my 7 year old sister Ally. He's

I wanted to kill him to make him pay for hurting me, for hurting my mom, but especially for hurting Ally. But deep down I knew he would over power me and it would only get worse as I lay her down onto my bed feeling her slow yet steady heart beat as I begin to sing to her. I guess we're missing yet another day of school as I examined the forming bruises until I fell asleep.
