At the royal ball

Starlight POV:

''Please welcome Slisea Kingdom's number 1 merchant, the Hearts family, sir Frost Hearts, lady Mayla and the heiress, lady Rose Hearts.'' the king's butler announced as the Hearts family came in. Not many turn to see them since they are just commoners. They believe that the Hearts family will fall. The Lost Wonderland has reached to a feat that not even the king himself could reach. Not many knows how the owner of the Lost Wonderland looks like. Those who did turn around was disappointed because their son is not with them. Is the rumour about their son being weak and hideous is true? Who would abandon their son completely?

When the Hearts family went down the stairs, the noble starting to crowd around them. They didn't notice a boy with raven black hair like night and cat like crimson red eyes came in along with another boy who has silver hair and icy blue eyes. A woman notice them and gasped which caught the crowd's attention. Everyone was stunned by the boy. The only one who has that kind of hair and eyes colour is not other than...

''Presenting a sponsor, sir Pandora Hearts an independent individual and the solo owner of the Lost Wonderland Company and his personal butler, sir Seth Terragem.'' the king's butler was surprise by how young the owner of the Lost Wonderland is. Sir Frost, lady Mayla and Rose was not pleased. Sir Frost mumbled ''Why is that disgrace of the family's here?!''. Lady Mayla mumbled ''How dare you take Rose's spotlight away!'' and Rose was smiling while clenching her fist.

When they went down the stairs, Frost rushed to Pandora's side. He raised his hand and slapped Pandora across the face. ''Why are you here?! You are nothing but a disgrace to the family!'' he shouted, thinking that he's gonna back down like he use to back then.

Instead of backing down, Pandora smirked. An evil grin appear on his face as he said ''Do you really think that i'm going to back down? I am not the once weak boy you know. Don't you think that you can command me to do everything you asked. Even though i still have the family name does mean i am your family. My only family is sir Levi and i will never protect an air-headed girl like miss Rose.'' His eyes were glowing gold with a slight red since it reflected his eyes colour. He then walks away while holding his redden face. He uses light magic to heal the redden face before arriving at the king's table where the royalty, archduke, Seth and him will seated. This is the place where VIPs sit.

He was seated between Seth and Lillian Vissec, the daughter of Archduke Vissec. He greeted with the archduke and archduchess who sit next to Liliana. Liliana was wondering why Pandora didn't ask for his family to sit with them. When she's about to asked, she was interrupted by the announcement.

''Introducing the royal family of Slisea Kingdom, king Leonardo Chauvethier, queen Silvia Chauvethier, prince Edward Chauvethier, princess Elizabeth Chauvethier and prince Edwin Chauvethier.''

Everyone bowed the moment the royal family was announced. The royal family glanced at Rose who panicked before bowing to them.

They went to the king's table. When they saw Pandora, they were amused by his unique hair colour. Keep in mind that he is bowing.

The king told them to raise. Edward and Edwin were blown away by his beauty. Hair as black as night, sharp cat like crimson eyes, a slim body similar to a girl, milky white skin and plum kissable lips. Edwin was blushing furiously. Edward looks like he is calm but his mind is a total mess. Elizabeth noticed it and is not that surprise about it.

After greeting to each other, they sat down. The king and queen was talking to the archduke and archduchess about politician while the  royal siblings, Liliana, Seth and Pandora was chatting together.

''Tell me sir Pandora, why don't you ask for your family to sit with us.'' Liliana asked out of curiosity.

''I don't see any reason that i should.'' he replied.

''Is the rumour about you being disown by your family is true?'' asked Elizabeth.

''Yes.'' he replied bluntly.

''Why would they?'' asked Liliana.

''I'm too lazy to explain it to you all so long story short, they disown me because i only have one attribute.'' Pandora took a sip off the tea.

Elizabeth and Liliana thought it was some thing dramatic. They stood frozen there.

''Prince Edwin, you've been staring at me during the entire conversation, is something the matter?'' asked Pandora as he glanced at Edwin.

''I-i-i-i-i...n-nothing t-t-the matter.'' Edwin face is completely red like a tomato. Elizabeth snap out of her frozen state and saw Edwin is shuttering. Before Pandora can asked anything, she cut in, ''Can you please answer my question more seriously, sir Pandora!''

The royal siblings and Liliana were staring at him. Pandora was clearly feeling uncomfortable by their stares and he turn to Seth. Seth shrugged his shoulder. Pandora turn back and sighed. ''Fine, i'll tell you.''

He explains his story to them which make the atmosphere around them very awkward. Elizabeth was tearing up. Edwin clenched his fist angrily. Edward look expressionless but his heart was clenched. Liliana look down at her fiddling fingers.

''Sorry.'' Edward apologized which make them turn to look at him. ''I sorry if my sister's question offend you in some way.'' he bowed.

''Please raise prince Edward. By all mean, i don't feel offended by her question. It's all in the past after all.'' replied Pandora while drinking his tea.

''My little princess, who made you cry?'' the king asked. He won't forgive anyone who made his one and only daughter cry.

''I'm not sad papa, i'm just happy about Pandora's new product, that's all.'' Elizabeth replied.

''Is it true?'' the king turn to Pandora.

''Yes my company is going to release chocolate filled with caramel.'' Pandora answered. It seems like he needs to release it sooner that he anticipated.

Elizabeth was imagining the taste of it. ''Papa can we bought load?'' urged Elizabeth as dropped all her princess act. ''Sure!'' the king replied. He couldn't say no to his princess.

The real story has started!!! The school's holiday is tomorrow. I think i will update the chapter very frequently since i have nothing to do at home.
