All the love, S_____________
Harry's POV
Today. It was today. My life was about to change for better or for worse, today. I could either begin my journey to achieve my dreams or have everything shatter down right in front of my eyes. It was the day of my audition. To say I was nervous would be a huge understatement. I was beyond freaking out. I was panicking. I practiced the song over a million times everyday, making sure I hit all the notes perfectly.
My mom took the news of my application better than I thought she would've. She was quite supportive and actually helped me pick out the song. Martha was so ecstatic when I told her the news that she decided to bake me some 'goodluck' cookies. She literally wrote goodluck on them with icing which I thought was pretty cute.
Gemma has been the best sister I could ever ask for. She helped in calming down my nerves and boosting my self confidence but not today. No one can. I couldn't stop thinking about all the possibilities where I could mess up. I wanted to be optimistic for once but I just couldn't.
My mom, Gemma and I were currently on our way to the Xfactor. My leg was bouncing up and down while I sat down in the backseat, staring out the window. I went over the notes in my head every once in a while, making sure I still remember how to hit the note how I want it to be. I ran my fingers through my hair then leaned my head back, shutting my eyes. I was trying so hard to calm myself down but it just wasn't working. My heart was beating so fast that it almost felt as though I was running. My palms kept getting sweaty and I had to wipe it off on my jeans every once in a while.
I was wearing my favorite pair of black skinny jeans, a white button up shirt tucked in though my chest tattoos were quite visible since the very few first buttons were unbuttoned. I topped everything off with my favorite pair of brown half boots. I think I looked pretty decent for a guy who was anxiously biting his nails off.
We pulled up in front of the huge building and that's when all the doubts started coming back. I shook my head and sunk down in my seat, shutting my eyes. "I don't think I can do this." I muttered, knowing my mom and Gemma could hear me.
I heard Gemma groan and quite honestly, I couldn't blame her. It was about the hundredth time she heard me say that. I snapped my eyes open and looked up at the roof of the car, taking long deep breaths.
"I know you're extremely nervous right now Hazza but you can do this. We believe in you. You're gonna go up on that stage and smash it. I've heard you go over the song over a hundred times and every single time, you sound absolutely perfect." My mom told me in an attempt to comfort me and I'm not going to lie, it helped a little bit.
"Thanks mom." I told her, flashing her a small nervous smile before she turned the ignition off and got out of the car, Gemma following suit. I was the last to get out since I took my time in making sure I looked decent.
I looked around and saw how many people are there with their families and friends. Some looked rather excited, other looked nervous and some looked emotionless whatsoever. I could never understand how they managed to keep a poker face while applying for something that could possibly decide their future.
"C'mon Haz, Let's go." I heard Gemma say making me turn around to look at her. I nodded slowly and hung my head down low as I followed after her and mom. We arrived at this huge line of people, waiting to get their audition number. Mom and Gemma were already engaged in a conversation, leaving me to look around.
I glanced at this guy next to me, he seemed pretty nervous and he wouldn't stop shaking. He appeared to be with his family and they couldn't calm him down. He kept trying to hit a certain note and failed every time due to how nervous he was.
