Bumping into the cutie

(Melanie's POV)

I'm at the baggage claim waiting to find my suit cases.

I see my suit cases and grab them quickly before they get away.

I'm walking with my bags and texting my friend Katie to see if she's at the airport.

Next thing you know I'm falling on my ass and dropping everything.

"Oh my god I'm sorry I should've been watching where I'm going" the guy I bumped into said.

"No it's okay I shouldn't have been texting while I was walking" I say while I my stuff together.

I look up and see a guy with brown eyes,brown hair,and a cute smile.

"How about I make it up to you and take you to Starbucks on me."

"Sounds fun." I say with a smile.

I'm about to grab my stuff but the cute guy beats me and is holding his and my bags/suit cases.

We arrive at Starbucks and wait in line.

"What would you like" the cute guys says.

I tell him what I want and he orders the drinks.

We sit down and wait till our drinks are done.

"So I didn't get you name." I say curiously.

"Kyle.How about you cutie what's your name?"

I stare at the floor and blush.

"Melanie." I say

"Cute name.Why are you in Cali?"

"I'm moving so I can live with my best friend Katie.How about you?"

"I'm moving with my friend Shawn."

"Cool.From where?"

"New Hampshire.You?"

"Boston."

"Well I should go it was nice meeting you Kyle." I say while I get up.

"Yeah it was nice meeting you too."

I'm walking out unit I hear Kyle yell my name.

"Melanie wait!"

He walks up to me.

"Can I get your number so we can keep in touch?"

"Sure." I say.

We exchange numbers and I'm on my way out.

I see my friend Katie.

"KATIE!"

"MELANIE!"

We yell and hug each other.

"I haven't seen you in forever." I say to Katie.

"Same."

I turn on the radio and I'm already missing Kyle.
