Just another day in the park

As i walked down the road to my house i switched on some music ' All of me ' by John Legend came on i hummed until i reached Ben and Noah's house. I opened the gate and knocked on the door. Ben swung the door open "YAY!! FAY" He screamed hugging me. "Hey kiddo you ready?" i asked he nodded "Yes i have my dinosaurs and trains and cars!" He jumped up and down i looked down at him "Uhm how about some shoes buddy?" I laughed.

"Oh yeah!" He ran into the corridor suddenly Noah appeared "Hi" he nodded "Hi" I waved. I have no idea how he got home before me but hey ho it doesn't matter OH maybe he has super powers! ...no..ok. "IM READY IM READY IM READY!!" Ben came running in. I laughed "Come on Mr lets go to the park" Ben took my hand and then took Noah's hand "TO THE PARK!!".

"WOOOOO HIGER FAY HIGHER!!" Ben shouted as i pushed him on the swing "Ben if i push you and higher you will fall off!" I laughed "And then Jenny and Sam would kill me" Noah murmured "What?" i questioned and dogged the swing before i would get smacked in the face. "Never mind..." Noah coughed "Noah isn't my real brother he comes from a special house ma ma and da da adopted him" Ben screamed people stared and gave us glances but quickly turnt back to what they were doing. "Ben shut up!" Noah said through clenched teeth "Oh. Well that's nice" I smiled at Noah he just stared at me in shock.

"You know Ben my daddy he works as a marine" I said avoiding Noah's gaze "What's a marine?" Ben asked "A marine is someone who fights in the army" I smiled at him "Then your daddy's awesome" Ben shouted "How long has he served for" Noah asked "About a year" I answered. He nodded "Do you miss him?" He leaned against the fence "Yeah loads i only see him around Christmas" I thought back to Christmas when he came home to see me , mum and ...him but left early because he was called out.

It suddenly started to rain "Ben we have to go before you get soaking" Noah grabbed him off the swing and picked him up "Ohhhh but i want to play!" Ben whined "Maybe another time" I sighed. "Ok" Ben sighed and cuddled into Noah's shoulder. "Noah are you going to date Fay?" Ben suddenly blurted out "WHAT!!!" me and Noah shouted "I want you to be together forever!!!" Ben screamed and laughed "Um..." i laughed and Noah didn't say anything. "Then Noah you have a real girlfriend and a real family!" Ben smiled Noah suddenly stopped "Ben shut your mouth ok just shut up you don't know anything about me!" Noah shouted Ben's lip started shaking and his eyes went watery. I stared as the little boy in front of me sprinted off crying.

"Noah!!! you idiot how could you say that to him he's only what 4!" i shouted "Not my fault he annoyed me..."Noah shrugged "...That's your little brother there and you just scared him away!!" I shouted he stared at me and then looked at the floor "Fine stand there im going to go find Ben" i turnt around and walked off the rain was beating harder to the point it was hurting "BEN!!" i screamed "BEN WHERE ARE YOU!!"i cried out. "BEN!!!!!" a deep voice joined in next to me....wow.

**************************half an hour later*******************

"BEN!!" i screamed tears were falling down my face Noah was at one end of the park and i was at the other "BEN ITS OK ITS ME FAYE!" i shouted pushing the now mop of hair out of my face. I suddenly heard crying and turnt to the skateboard ramp a small figure sat on the edge "BEN!" i shouted and sprinted to the skateboard ramp trying not to slip over in the process. He was crying and shaking "Ben come here" i whispered i took off my blazer and wrapped it round him it reached his calf's "Come on Ben lets go" I picked him up he hid his face in my blazer and i ran to the other side of the park.

"BEN ARE YOU OK ARE YOU HURT!" Noah cried out Ben hid his face in my shoulder and didn't talk to Noah. "Ben...talk to me" He pleaded Ben didn't budge "Ben are you going to talk to Noah?" I asked Ben shook his head and cuddled into me further. Noah sighed "Come on guys lets go home" He ran his fingers through his wet hair. Getting home was quicker than getting to the park probably because it was thundering we got to the door of Noah's house he unlocked it and let me in i walked into he living room to see pictures of Ben, Jenny and Sam , Sam , Jenny and Ben but none of Noah i thought that was awkward.

"Mum and dad have probably gone to nans so come with me" He made his way to some wooden stairs "His rooms this way" He walked to a long hall and pointed to the door "There , that's his room" i walked in to see train tracks , Lego ,action figures , cars , dinosaurs you name it! The walls were painted red with racing car stickers all over it a wardrobe that read BEN in big letters sat in the corner. Boxes of toys scattered the room and then in another corner his bed it was a train bed a bunk bed more like. Sliding Ben onto his bed i took the blazer and wrapped his duvet around him "Get better soon Ben" i mumbled he turnt to face me "Thank you Faye for taking me to the park and getting me into bed" He yawned.

"It's ok now get some sleep ill see you soon" I smiled and he nodded "Night Ben" i sang and i walked out the door i heard his faint reply of 'night' and then closed the door. I walked downstairs to see Noah sitting on the sofa a can of coke in hand and then popcorn in another he was watching 'Ghost' i rolled my eyes and then coughed. As soon as he looked at me his eyes widened "Um...F-Faye" He stuttered "What?" I was confused was there something on my face "Your t-to-ops gone see-see-through" He stumbled my cheeks went as red as a tomato ...omg. "Shit omg im so sorry...bye!!" and with that i ran out the house.
