all things lovely
come and go
like waves on a shoreline.
all things beautiful
are fragile and breakable
like a petal next to fire
and yet you
you are bright and careless
reckless in how you love
no understanding
yet completely open
to finding new passions
like a diamond
from rock to ring
and i find it quite perfect
the way you live
in harmony with your soul
your ocean and petals.
