We were summoned to Olympus to gain great gifts from the gods, I wouldn't put it past them to try to kill us because we're too 'powerful' for Drama Queen's taste. As we solemnly rode the elevator up towards the 600th floor, remembering all who lost their lives, my younger brother clung to me. His mop of pure black hair exactly mimicked my own while his eyes were a different story. They were sea green with swirls of endless darkness, a silver ring around the iris and multi colored flecks buried deep inside his soul, that slowly flew around his eyes.

Ping.

Finally. We were at Olympus. We, me holding my brother's hand, stalked into the throne room , followed by some of the hard-eyed veterans from the recent war we just had. Most nodded their heads in respect towards the gods, as we knew that we had done too much to be forced to bow to them.

Zeus strode, like a predator, this way from behind one of the doorways and collapsed onto his gorgeous throne. First he called the names of most of the demigods out before asking them to step forward. Finally his voice boomed around the newly built hall.

"You are each being offered partial immortality. You can only be killed in battle like my daughters hunters. " All accepted his generous offer and were shot with blinding lightning producing from his fist, causing them to collapse before some kind, caring nymphs rushed in and dragged them off towards the infirmary until they awaken. Then his voice echoed around, requesting the others to step forward, the others that is, except me and my brother.

"You are all being offered full immortality as a minor god. If you accept then your godly parent shall privately speak with you about what your domains are after you awaken from this blast." Then they vanished instantly after the last one collapsed from the power influx.

Eventually it was just us left. Me and him. Alone, against the world. Like always.

Zeus cleared his throat awkwardly, "Finally, two of the bravest heroes, the true saviors of Olympus - twice now. We all know that neither one of you would accept immortality so instead all of us have decided to bless you as well as offering you two wishes each." He stood there, waiting for a reaction.

I sighed. "We don't have a choice do we?"  Zeus sheepishly grinned. "No." He clicked his fingers, and immediately, sparks shot in every direction. Half of the council vanished, only to reappear behind us. Multiple beams of pure magic shot at me and Ash. Once they'd all exhausted their reserves of power, I picked up my small brother so that he could cuddle into my chest. The powers that we both received were:

Zeus - powers of his children and wings that change into tattoos

Poseidon - increased water powers, a trident that turns to a tattoo on my/Ash's wrist

Hades - same abilities as his children and underworld monsters recognize and won't harm us

Ares - immediately know how to use a weapon and greater strength

Hephaestus - knowledge of technology, forges and fire like Leo

Dionysus - make people insane, stop insanity, unable to get drunk, drugs have no effect

Apollo - healing ability, increased accuracy in archery, better lying ability

Hermes - inhuman speed and endurance, thievery skills, knowledge if someone's lying.

Hestia - fire powers, summoning food from fire, safety at the hearth

Hera - safety with family, knowledge about children

Demeter - plants and control over minor plant creatures

Athena - no dyslexia, photographic memory, knowledge of all languages

Artemis - can shift into any animal, can speak to any animal, greater archery and stealth skills

Aphrodite - handsome and desirable, great charmspeaker, resistance to charmspeak.

Zeus shot a caring glance toward my brother. "Since he cannot wish for anything right now, what do you wish for?"

My throat cracked as I spoke, "First, do you swear on the river Styx?" All of the gods swore the binding oath. "I wish for Hades and Hestia to have thrones on Olympus so they are full Olympian gods. Also, I wish for you to leave us alone. No monster attacks, no god visits, no quests. Until we, are ready to return."

Zeus smiled a gentle smile that I had never even glimpsed before. "Have fun being normal. Also, if your brother would like to have his wishes then it wouldn't be counted as returning as he couldn't request them now." His words were cut off as Poseidon created a beam of light to flash us onto the bustling streets of everyday New York City.

A note floated down onto my brother who was still fast asleep in my arms.

Percy,

Here is a credit card that will always be full. You can buy an apartment or home using it. If you lose it then call out 'Reditus' (return in Latin) and it shall immediately appear in your outstretched hand. We have already bought an apartment that only we two know of, you may stay there as well. That address in on the back of this letter. Thank you for what you have done for us, even with this we owe you a great debt.

Hades and Hestia.

"Finally, some peace after everything." I murmured into my brother's ear before we reached the apartment complex that was listed. "Home sweet home."

The attack from Loki had finally been sorted. Not the actual battle, that had finished months ago, no the paperwork from that war. Once that had been sorted, I could finally return to my job, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement and Logistics Division.

I had thought that nothing was as important as that war, but as I approached my desk, I discovered I was wrong. So very wrong.

A file stamped with Level 9 danger was clearly laid out on my desk. I panicked, realizing that me clearing up the alien catastrophe, could've caused innocent civilians to perish. I flipped open the thin file that only contained one measly piece of paper.

Name: Perseus (Middle name unknown) Jackson

Age: 16

Parents: Sally Jackson (mother - deceased) Gabe Uglino (stepfather - deceased) Paul Blofis (stepfather - deceased) Unknown (father - lost at sea/presumed dead)

Activities: strangled snake as an infant, dropped class into shark tank on school fiend trip, blew up multiple schools, kidnapped, stepfather - Gabe - says he's a insane psycho who kidnapped his mother - proved he was taken instead. ect....

My mouth had fallen open at the adventures of this kid. It was unknown to me that he had any siblings but I knew that I needed the toughest team to deal with this presumed terrorist.

"Agent Hill," I demanded her to enter. "Yes, Director?" She inquired.

"Call in the Avengers."
