Chapter 8: The Plan

So like I was lazy so I didn't include the part when they woke up so they are just near the fountain before school started :)

Also sorry for updating at 12 am(eastern time) but I was done so...💋

Aaron's Pov

Me and Aphmau were just taking about werewolf class. I like how she's not that nervous around me anymore. It makes me happy.

"Hey Aaron, I never said thanks for last night. I know it's kind of weird to say thanks for something like uh.. that, but still. Thanks.." she smiled her bright, sweet smile. "Oh please, you don't have to thank me for anything babe. I got something out of it too~" I replied in a flirty tone. I saw her blush then felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned around and noticed Laurance standing there smiling. "Hey Aaron! And of course Aphmau. How are you feeling after yesterday?" He asked me, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Oh, we're fine now. Thank you for coming to get me after that incident. Garroth apologized as we were walking to Aphmau's house. Everything is fine now." I answered. "Well that's great! I'm happy for you guys." He replied. "Now all we have to do is come out, and well.. worry about Gene and or Balto. Of course I could take them if they try me, but I'm just scared of what they will do to Aph when I'm not around."  I said looked kind of worried.

Laurance looked surprised. "That's what your worried about? Aaron, even though I don't know you as well as Aphmau, I sure as hell know you're strong and don't take any crap. Especially if someone is messing with Aph. So what if they know? It in fact, anyone else know? Everyone knows you're strong and short tempered. Of course, Gene and Balto will try and make you hit first, but just control that anger. I know it's hard, but just think of Aphmau. Think of her smile and her laugh. It will calm you down and if they make the first punch, then you can come out with everything. I will definitely try and help you with this, and I sure as heck won't let anything happen to Aphmau either. We could be in this together man." Laurance talked proudly.

I smiled. "That's an amazing plan. I would have never thought of that myself. Yeah, you're right. I will channel that anger, and you can definitely help me. I will need all the help I can get." I told him. I looked at Aphmau and it looked like she was about to cry. "What's wrong?!" I asked her, wrapping my arm around her. "I-I've never b-b-been protected like t-this from anyone b-before!" She hugged my waist as tears rolled down her cheeks.

I chuckled. "Hey..it's okay. Of course we are going to protect you. You don't need to cry." I rubbed her back and looked at Laurance. He was smiling, and looked like he was holding back laughter. He got on his knees in front of us to look at Aphmau. "Aph, please stop crying. You have no reason to." She started to look up. She stood up and pulled me and Laurance into a group hug. "T-Thank you guys!" She told us. I kissed her head. "It's really no problem babe." "You're welcome." We both replied.

We pulled away from the hug and just started talking until school officially started. It was fun to have some friends, since I've been lonely for basically all my life.

DEEP AF ^^^^^^^^^^^

"Now that I'm actually thinking about it, you guys can't keep your relationship secret forever. You guys have been dating for a few days now, correct? I feel like right now, you should just tell close friends and then after like a month you can start doing stuff in the hallways, and not doing anything secret." Laurance suggested. "Actually, that's a good idea. I can deal with that for just one month" Aphmau replied with a smile.

"maybe that will work but, the literal only reason why we aren't doing anything in the open is because Gene, or Balto. I know that I can take both of them but what if I'm not there and they go up to her and does something? They both almost caught us but we said we were good friends. I saw some mischief in their eyes." I replied to them. "Well Aaron, now that I know and Garroth knows, we will keep a close eye on them and Aphmau if you aren't around. It's the least we can do."
