Settling In

Payton's POV

"We're here Payton,"

My dad said excitingly. "Yay, new home.." I mumbled. I really wish I didn't move to North Carolina, New Jersey was perfectly fine. It actually had decent weather. Unlike the big hot mess I'm in right now. I just got out of the car, grabbed my stuff, and stormed inside the house. It looked clean, safe, and comfy. It was a medium, ordinary, and normal home.

I just kept repeating going up and down the stairs, getting my stuff up in my room, it wasn't small, it wasn't big, it was perfect for me. I decorated my room which took me hours since I have a lot of stuff. On Monday, it's the first day for me to go to the last year of middle school.  I really wasn't excited. Middle Schoolers can be idiots and hobos. I was almost sarcastic about everything in this town. Anyways, mom isn't with us because she has work and is getting the old house cleaned for some buyers. Anyways, dad just called me for dinner. I better go.
