Chapter 1: The Two Knights

Hello!  My name is Nichi Fey and I'm a master witch if you couldn't tell! I've lived alone for most of my life, usually trying to better myself in the arts of magic; I live in my wooden hut near the forest. But one day while I was heading to the forest to get her some stuff I met these two knights! They seem like great guys, but the big one scares me the most...anyways!
Strap your belts tight cause this is going to be a dumpy ride…

Nichi grabbed her satchel full of items for the trip to a forest near her hut. She wore a purple and green robe with a belt around her waist. Under it was a leather tunic for added protection against physical attacks, while her robe protected against magical attacks. Her big hat which all Witch's and Wizard's wear, it could conceal the wears face and features, as well as block out the sun from your eyes. But hers was a bit smaller, compared to other hats that normal Witches and Wizard's wear. She also wore pants and leather boots in her left hand she held a wooden staff that had a ball of magic floating at the top and in her right was a big time filled with basic to advanced magic spells, she didn't have to bring her master tome since she was only going to the forest. Her big tome had gold trim and was purple in color.

“Come on, Momi! We need to get those Ingredients before sun down!” Nichi said as she opened the door of her wooden hut. She stepped out and a small ball of hair hopped on top of her shoulder it was orange in color and made cute little sounds.

“Ready little buddy?” she asked as Momi nodded quickly, making Nichi giggle.

“okay, let's go!” she walked out of her hit closing the door shut and making sure its locked.

She walked through a trail to the forest, it's lush green leaves and lively small animals roam around either through the grass or the branches. ‘The forest was called, Ever Green, if I could recall. Due to its beautiful green trees and animals’ she thought, after an hour of walking she and Momi reached a small clearing in the forest.

“all right Momi we're here just don't wonder to far, alright?” Nichi cautioned her little fluffy friend only to receive a nod from Momi. Nichi smiled and nodded back to Momi as it went about hoping on the rocks and fallen trees.

Nichi sighed and took off her hat, letting her luscious red hair flow down to her shoulders, she was okay looking, she might catch a few eyes from time to time but she wasn't like those noble women in the city. She looked back and saw Momi having its fun, giggling a bit as she watched the little thing hop around. Then she remembered why she was here, she stood up and placed down her satchel, opening it she reached into the bag and pulled out a small knife. She looked around and saw a couple of mushrooms and herbs near a tree, she knew what types of mushrooms and herbs that are meant for potions, the last time she messed up was not fun. Taking her knife she cut the stems of the mushroom and herbs, taking it them into her hands she walked back to her satchel and pulled out a small rag, placing the herbs and mushrooms in the rag, she wrapped them up. She did the same thing with any other ingredients and herbs she could find. After a few minutes she had gathered enough to last her at least the week, standing up, she wiped a sweat from her brow and took a deep breath. Looking at the sky she noticed that it was almost dark.

“Well looks like that should be enough, Come on now Momi best we head back” Nichi looked around to find Momi but couldn't spot the small hair ball.

“Momi? Momi?!...” she called and waited for it to come back. After a minute of waiting she got worried and ran towards the direction she saw Momi hopping around.

“MOMI?!?! MOMI WHERE ARE YOU?!?!” she called again as her eyes darted around to find it. ‘oh no! Momi please don't be lost or eaten!’ she thought as she quickly hurried to find Momi, but then she heard a roar and the clashing of steel. Fearing for the worst she ran towards the sounds of fighting.
