"so, can you help me with my homework? it's kind of a big deal considering the fact i'm the starting quarterback for the varsity team, and homecoming is this friday. if i fail this quiz, my grade will drop to a b+ and i'll only have a gpa of three point eight." ethan's dark green eyes pierced into my eyes as he had different facial expressions as he talked, making it seem more convincing for me to help him.
the way he just explained things to me made me feel really like. i don't know. like he made me feel something in my vagina. have you ever gotten that feeling?
"look, ethan, i'm really sorry that you're obsessed with football and everything, but a gpa of a three point eight isn't bad at all. i don't know why you're stressing." i told him as i stuffed my notebooks and folders into my light purple backpack.
"please, ari, you know football means the world to me," his dark eyes had turned a light brown and were full of sunshine and happiness, which made me want to smile.
"no, ethan. why do i have to say that so many times?" i then and there rudely remarked, and he groaned.
"because, ari! i love football with an incredible passion and i know how school comes first. please, just help me. help me one time." his light brown eyes were beating me. i was losing him. he was already convincing me.
"nope nope nope, i won't help you." i furrow my eyebrows. he licks his lips and stays quiet.
"if i kiss you, would you help me then?" ethan had a smirk plastered on his face, making me want to say yes.
what, no. you don't like ethan. you can't like ethan. you don't want to kiss him, that's not allowed.
"no, ethan, i don't want to help you. and i don't want to kiss you, you already know that." i swing my backpack onto one of my shoulders, then putting my arm through the other hole.
"okay. it was worth a shot. i'll leave you alone." he stared me down and i rolled my eyes. he slowly grinned and kept his eye sight on me.
i sighed then smiled, "fine, i'll help you with your homework. meet me at the library at lunch."
a quick sign of relief ran all over his beautifully structured face, then he smiled. "thank you, arianna. this means so much to me."
"my pleasure. see you later, ethan."
"bye, ari."

i sat down on the couch that was placed in between two book shelves. i took out my phone and saw a text message from ethan.

ethan : not gonna be able to make it, have football practice todayi sighed in disappointment and frustration. he practically begged me to help him, and now he just embarrassed me to waste my time and go to the library for no exact reason.
