"Boy...boy!" Sirius's vision came and went as he was being shaken awake.
"Wh - what?" he brought himself to his feet by creating a firm grasp on his trolley.
"Blimey! Yer've certainly taken a hard fall, haven't yeh?" Sirius was struggling to comprehend what this man was saying. "Yeh walked inter the wrong wall. Platform 9 and three quarters, not 2/4."
"You -- you're a bit tall..." Sirius mumbled.
"Wull've course I am! Rubeus Hagrid; Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts."
"You mean -- you -- you're headed for Hogwarts as well?" Rubeus gave a warm nod.
"Now, see that? That over there?" Hagrid pointed towards a brick pillar. "Yeh just run into there. That's all." Sirius didn't mean to sound superior on any level, but he knew that there was something wrong with this. He had never sent off his cousins to Hogwarts, so he didn't know right from wrong. Without questioning Hagrid, he darted towards the bricks, hoping to Merlin that this man wasn't mental. "Whoah." Sirius spoke as he transformed into just another average boy dressed in robes and pushing a trolley. Of course, he knew what to expect. But experiencing it was different. The shift between being some strange boy with pure magic running through his veins to being some average boy with pure magic running through his veins was truly fascinating to him.
