Beam's Pov:
Life is strange.
One day you have it all and the next day you lose it all.
I learned it when I was just a kid. I was often sick so I spent most of my childhood in a hospital because one of my kidneys didn't work correctly. All this, put a strain on my parents' lifestyle and marriage.
My father left without looking back and my mother was the left alone to support me. Luckily for us, my uncle who was living in London was able to help her. I went to live with him to get the best treatment and in no time, I had a new kidney.
When I came back to Thailand, my mother had remarried with an old classmate. He was also separated from his previous wife and he had a son named Phana Kongthanin.
I was a bit put out by the news but my mother was genuinely happy and my step-father turned out to be a good man. Phana and I were walking on eggshells around each other but we finally became good friends, then best friends.
We ended up applying in the same university, him in the medicine and me in veterinary.

"I can't believe you will be gone for two weeks," Wayo complained lounging on my bed while I was trying to close my suitcase.
Pha was checking my itinerary from London Heathrow to my uncle's new flat on his phone.
I rolled my eyes, exasperated by his protectiveness and busied myself with my travel bag.
"I am attending my uncle's wedding and I am coming back home," I reassured Yo who was pouting.
"And why can't he get married here? Does it forget you are going to miss two weeks of classes?" Pha wondered still bothered.
"Because in case you forgot Pha, you can't get married to a man in Thailand!"
"Yet" Yo interjected happily.
Pha smiled dearly at his boyfriend.
'They are so sweet too bad they have to be lovey-dovey in my bedroom.'
"While I am away, I hope the both of you won't do anything in my room...I just change the bedsheets."
"P'Beam!"
"Beam!"
I smiled proud of myself. I am going to miss them for those two weeks.
My parents, Phana, and Yo dropped at me Bangkok airport international.
When I arrived in London it was night time and I was jet-lagged. Luckily Uncle Ming was waiting for me, a huge poster with my name written on it. I would be embarrassed if I wasn't so happy to see him and so bloody tired.
I don't remember the way back I fall asleep as soon as I sat in the cab and was drowsing when he introduced his fiancé, P'Kit Intochar Daichapanya.
I woke up in the middle of the day, groggy and lost. My surroundings were completely new to me. I laughed in disbelief when I released I didn't undress and slept in my travel clothes.
