Chapter Twelve: His Gift <3

Maya Pov

It was a "special day" of the year. Me and Jordan had been going out but I haven't had the courage to commit to him. Andrea and I walk to school together anticipating nothing to happen today. Even though it was valentines day, I wasn't excited particularly. We get to our old busted lockers. They are right next to eachothers like they have been since the ninth grade. We open our lockers at the same time finding two gifts. The first one was from Layla. Even though we had broken up, Layla would still try to contact me. She gave me one rose. Attached it had a note saying. " I still think about you everyday, you are the person I think about right before I drift into sleep." The other was from was from Jordan. He gave me a huge teddy bear and a gift. It said " This is something I think you look beautiful in. ❤️❤️❤️❤️"At that moment I was mad because he thought I looked good in something I don't have?! When I opened it I was in shock. It was a sweatshirt I would always wear. Aww. That's so cute. He meant that I look beautiful all the time. I hold the card close to me. I will never loose this.

I as we'll get two presents. I don't want to look at them because then I would fall into tears. I first open victors. He gives me 12 roses. But surprisingly there is nothing else attached to it. Next I get Jc's gift. We had seen eachother this morning. The first thing I do us run up to him and kiss him. He spins he around and my skirt twirls when he picked me and spins me. Once I look at the gift. My heart stops....it was one single rose. Jc was never an astravigante person. Even though it was just one I loved it and pushed it up against my heart. " Do you remember when you asked what my favorite color was?" -the tag read. I wanted to get him something, so I asked him what his favorite color was. "My favorite color is your....beautiful eyes. I want to stare into them all day." This made me blush. I looked at Amaya. She was looking at me like I was crazy. " WHY ARE YOU BLUSHING! I SHOULD BE THE ONE BLUSHING."-she said. I was confused. But then I understood why she should of been blushing. She.... was blushing more than she was before. " JORDAN GOT ME SOMETHING I ALREADY HAD AND CALLED ME BEAUTIFUL IN!!" She was blushing very badly but she was going to more once she noticed something else. Jordan was ... behind her. He covered her eyes trying to make it surprising.

I felt someone's hands covering my eyes. " Who is this?!"."Its the big goofball who didn't know what to get you. And can't stand one moment being away from you." Once I turned around I was capable of fainting at that moment.......

I heard someone calling my name in the distance. I really didn't care who was calling me because at that moment I was focused on thinking about Jc. He is so sweet. He calls me babe to which makes me melt right into his arms. But the person kept yelling louder and louder. Like if they were coming closer. But...... then I realized it wasn't who I thought it was. He didn't go here it was...... LAYLAS LITTLE BROTHER?!

The sight of his was so heartwarming. It felt like I was just walking through a medow with an array of flowers. It was him but in the most flattering thing. He had flowers as we'll but these were different. " I got you an orchid because they riminded me of you. Hard to find the perfect ones and different in a good way." He gave me a really cheesy smile that wasn't simplistic and didn't fade away. I like that. I has to resist kissing him right at that moment like who wouldn't? That's when he had done the unexpected. He would never do this. We'll that's what I thought since he had just did it. He picked me up (like a bride) and ran outside not letting me thing about anything. He was so sting. You could see his muscles through his shirts. But then....

Layla's little brother?! What is he doing here, he doesn't even know me?! That's where I was wrong. He talked to me like he had knew me forever. " Did anyone ever tell you, you have the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen. They have a sparkle that is so heart warming. Guys must fall for you all the time right?"he askes being very interested.
