chapter 1 "Mr. Perfect"

It's the first day of school and Im already tired of this place. Every where i go I see people who I thought were my friends, but I guess all that changed over the summer. But if I'm being honest that's nothing new to me, it pretty much happens every year. Your so called friends switch up on you and find new people to hang out with, leaving you all alone and feeling like you've done something wrong. But in reality, they were never your friends to begin with.     
JaQua and Nahje are pretty much the only ones that I call my best friends, oh and there's Justice and Kamari but they haven't really made it to the "Best Friend" status just yet. *bell rings* SHIT! It's the first day and I'm already late to Civics class! What a perfect way to start my day. When I entered the classroom every one turn around and started staring at me as if I just robbed a bank. "Sorry I'm late Mr.Carey I got a little confused on the way here" I said while holding my purse in my hand and my book bag strapped on my right shoulder. " Its fine just try your best to make it to my class in time before the bell rings" he said while writing on the white board. "Your seat is beside that young man right there". As I turned my head to see who he was pointing to, I then realized that it was JaQua and all I could do was smile as my body sparked with excitement.  Suddenly I felt as if today wasn't gonna be that much of a bad day after all. As I got to my desk all I could do was look at JaQua and laugh just because I already knew that this year was gonna be nothing but trouble. "What's so funny" he said smiling while taking out his sketch book. That hoodie is funny, that's what. "Asia your just a hater" (he said while pulling his hoodie stings). You wear that same Red hoodie every year. "And you wear that big ass forehead every year but do I complain". Aye! Leave my forehead out of it. How would you like it if I hurt your feelings. Oh wait you don't have any. "That's because feelings make you weak". Yeah whatever.
JaQua has always been one of those weird kids that just sits in the back of the class with their hoodies on there head, not giving a fuck about anyone's feelings. But underneath all that he's the most sweetest person you could ever meet, unless you get on his bad side and trust me that's the worse thing you could do. "Ok class make sure your writing this down In your journals", it's the first day of school and we already have notes? " This isn't tenth grade anymore so get use to writing notes everyday when you come into my class" He said as if he was frustrated with me. "Asia just do the notes wit yo big forehead" (JaQua says as while drawing in his sketchbook). How are you telling me to do the notes and your not even doing them. "Because honestly I don't care". Well you need to start caring because your future depends on it. "So my future depends on a few notes?". Oh my gosh just forget it.  An hour has past already and all I've been doing was checking my phone to see if it was time to go, and lucky we only had about four more minutes left until class ended. And honestly I think that's the most boring class anyone could have. "Aye yo forehead, what you doing after school". I don't know yet, why what did you have in mind. "Im going to the movies with Nahje,Kamari,and Justice. You wanna tag along?" Yeah if I don't have anything to do. " Oh well I'm glad that your coming". I said If I don't have anything to do. "Trust me you don't have nothing to do". Well how do you know that?. " I just know,but anyways the movie starts at 8:30 so don't be late". Yeah whatever. As the bell rings i walk out into the hallway which by this time was crowded with people from left to right on every corner. As I'm on my way to class some shit face wasn't paying any attention at all to where he was going and bumped into me, causing me to drop my phone and purse on the floor. While looking down trying to pick up my stuff another pair of hands appeared and helped me pick up my purse. When I looked up all I could do was stare, I've never seen a guy so fucking sexy in my life. He was this perfect tall ,sexy light skin boy, with a head full of waves. And his smile was so beautiful with his perfect white teeth. He was just too perfect. "Are you okay?" Yeah I'm ok thanks for helping me. "No problem, people nowadays just don't give a shit about anyone else." Yeah your not wrong about that. Oh my god this can't be real, is he really talking to me? "Oh my names Bryce by the way". Oh my god he's actually talking to me. My name is Asia. "Well it's nice to meet you Asia. What class are you headed to". I reached in my purse for my schedule to see what block I had next and I had Mrs.Baker class for English 4 which was all the way up stairs. " Oh so you have Mrs.baker". Yeah she's up stairs. "Yeah I know I had her for English 4 as well but switch out. Wait English 4? yeah I'm a senior"(he said with laughter). Wow really? I don't think I've ever seen you before. "Yeah I tend to stay to my self, Im pretty sure you've seen me around at least one time before". Trust me I would definitely remember your face. Shit! Did I just say that out loud, I hope he didn't pay attention. "Well I remember yours but I never really had the time to stop and say hey, so I decided take this opportunity to say hey." Well it was nice talking to you, but I think I should get going, I don't want to be late for class again. "Well Can i walk you to class". Sure why not, but aren't you gonna be late? "Ehh it's whatever. And plus your pretty cool to talk to so it's worth it". I made it just in time before the bell ringed, and on the way to class Bryce asked me if I wanted to hang out with him and some of his friends today after school before he leaves to go on a family trip. But I told him that I Couldn't because I was hanging out with some friends as well, and that maybe we could all hang out some time this weekend. So we just agreed on hanging out this weekend."Ok so I'll see you this weekend?". Yeah I don't have anything else to do. "Ok well I'll see you this weekend then, have a nice day and it's been really nice meeting you". Same to you, (I said smiling while walking to an empty desk). Soon after I sat down Nahje and Kamari both walked in and once again my body sparked with excitement as I saw their faces. "HEY GURL!" (Nahje said as she was walking with her arms out to give Me a hug). Oh my god hey Nahje! "What's good shorty". (Kamari said as he puts down his Gucci book bag) Hey Kamari! omg Like y'all don't understand how happy I am to see y'all. " Gurl same" (she said while putting her lipgloss on). "So who was the guy that you was talking to at the door". Oh that's Bryce. "Okay gurl I see you". It's not even like that, he's just a guy that I met in the hallway. "Well he must like you if he walked you to Class?" (Nahje smirked). Shut up  (I said blushing). "But gurl he is fine as hell". I know right, and he's so kind and sweet. He helped picked my stuff up when some shit face wasn't paying any attention to where he was going and made me drop my shit. And then Bryce came to help me. "Oh my fucking gosh, I want me a Bryce!" (she said while digging in her mini book bag purse). "He's not even all that, if I'm being honest I think I look better than him". Umm don't lie to yourself like that Kamari. "Exactly shut up Kamari with your fake Gucci bag" (Nahje said As if she was aggravated with Him). "Every thing I wear is real and that's Facts. So don't try that mess." (He said while looking at Nahje). Y'all are so dumb. (I said with laughter). "That's Nahje trying to come for people with her big face".  "Shut up with your choochie book bag." (Nahje said laughing). " Get out my face". (Kamari said in a playful manner). Those two have a bond that's almost confusing. It's like they don't like each other but at the same time care for each other. And I love that so much, when those to fuss it always make me laugh. "Anyway gurl is he coming with us to the movies or did you forget to ask?". Actually he invited me to go and hang out with him and his friends today before he left to go on his family trip. But I told him that I already had plans with some friends of my own. "Gurl you should've went". Um no! "Why not?". Because I just met him and I would've been there by myself and I don't know his friends. "Oh yeah you got a point about that, cause I would hate to have to stab a hoe". Exactly my point. "Yeah yeah whatever, but who's driving when we go to the movies because I don't really feel like it?"(Kamari said while looking at the both of us). "Yeah I don't really feel like driving either, gurl so I guess you driving". Imma just text Jaqua and see if he can take us.

Ok so Jaqua said that he"ll take us to the movies tonight, but he said be ready by 8 o'clock. "Ok well ask him if we can stop by the store so we can get some snacks". Nahje I already asked him and he said yeah. " Oh ok just making sure". "AYYEE JaQua is the real homie, always pulling through". "Shut up Choochie bag" (Nahje said with laughter).
We all sat there laughing until the bell rung for us to go to our next class. But as I was on my way to class I saw Bryce filling up his water bottle at the water fountain. He turned to look at me and nodded his head and smiled. And then there's me looking stupid and wondering to my self how can someone be so god damn perfect like what the fuck. But then I realized that I was just looking at him and being awkward, and he was looking at me while smiling as if he was curious to what I was just standing there for. So I smiled and wave awkwardly and started back walking to my class. When I finally got into the class room I didn't see anyone I knew in there. Which basically means that I would have to make new friends just to make time fly cuz, I really don't feel like being in this class, actually I don't feel like being at school. I'm so glad I only got one class after this one, because I'm ready to get the fuck ASAP!
