100 metres compressed into a tiny ball of white softness. A little tug and it starts tumbling and rolling over, revealing it's thin, soft strands of wool. First it starts winding through the fingers of a person - maybe old, maybe young, maybe a boy, maybe a girl, it does not matter - before being picked up by a thin stick-like object with a rounded tip, being pulled through itself, creating loop after loop around the stick's long body. Then being threaded through one loop after another, row after row creating a net of stitches growing with every minute. It can turn into a long scarf, a wide blanket, a thick sweater keeping you warm in the cold winter months or anything else you want it to be. That is what I am. That is my purpose in life.
