A Mistake

Marinette's POV

Today was just a really bad day to begin with. Ladybug was bruised from the last akuma attack which meant I had to carry her battle scars. I had none of my normal clothes so I had to wear a crop top and shorts. SHOWING MY BRUISES! Then I arrived at school.....

"Hey girl.......are you ok?"

"I-I fine just-"

"OMG MARITRASH" Chloe yells as I sit in my seat.

"What Chloe?"

"Did you trip and fall or something like the garbage you are!"

I groaned as Sabrina and her burst into laughter.

"How did you get so banged up girl?" Alya asks.

"I bet she was playing Ladybug!" Chloe laughs.

"Hell NO! I wouldn't be caught dead in her suit."

The class becomes silent as I realize I said that out loud.

"Do you not like Ladybug or something?" Alya says.

"Dislike is not a strong enough word...." I thought.

"What is then?!"

"Loathe..."

Chloe runs up and slaps me as I shout "What the heck!"

"You loathe LADYBUG!"

"I-I"

"You do?" Adrien sighs.

"I mean I don't love her....."

Alya gets up then and sits besides Nino and Adrien "I won't be seen with a LadyHater."

"But Alya-"

"What about when I showed you my LadyBlog stuff?"

"I was faking...I-"

"SO our friendship was fake?!"

"NO! I mean it doesn't consist of just ladybug...."

"Then this friendship is over."

"I bet Maritrash doesn't like Ladybug cause no one  loves her!"

I waited for Nino or Adrien to speak up for me, but then when they stayed silent I realized what a mistake I had made. But then I made it worse by letting my bad mood get in the way.

"I guess since we can't agree. I won't be friends with any of you."

I grabbed my stuff and moved to the back of the room and Nathaniel took my seat.

Miraculous Time Skip

"Tikki! What will I do! Now-"

"Marinette!" I stop and turn to her "Just apologize and everything will be fixed!"

"Yeah!" I run out of the house with a croissant in my mouth and I rush to meet Alya.

"Alya!" I yelled as I neared our usual meeting spot.

"What was that? Seems like a pesky bug."

I stop and whisper "W-What?"

"There it is again! Chloe do you know what that is?"

My eyes widen as I realize she's talking to Chloe with Nino,Adrien & Sabrina all surrounding them.

"Alya I wanted to-"

"OMG It's Maritrash!" Chloe laughs "Seems like she wants to be friends again."

"Oh Chloe don't worry I would never be friends with a pesky brat."
