"Be careful, son. If you notice anything going South, get out. Your health is more important to me," my dad tells me.

"Calm down. I've done this hundreds of times," I assure him.

"You've never dealt with these people. They're bloodthirsty, Ryan," he says.

"Rye, are you ready?" my friend, Jack, asks.

"Yeah," I say, getting ready to walk with him.

"Ryan-" my dad starts.

"I'll be okay," I tell him.

When the rest of the boys leave, Jack and I get in our car and head to the destination.

When we arrive at the abandoned warehouse, we head inside, all of us being cautious.

Inside, a pale blonde was in the middle of the room with the rest of his men behind him.

"Where's the money?" he asks.

I dont answer.

"We don't have any," one of my members speaks up.

"Why's that?" the blue eyed blonde asks.

"The shipment was fake. We didn't sell it," Jack explains.

"You think THAT quantity would be REAL?" the boy chuckles.

"If it's not, why should we pay for it as if it was?" Jack asks.

I give him a warning glance to back off a bit.

"Quit playing and hand it over or you'll see what happens if you don't," the boys tells us.

We stand there.

We don't have the money.

Dad wasn't paying for a fake shipment.

"No?" the boy asks. "Okay," he shrugs.

Before I can process anything, he pulls a gun and shoots.

Jack hits the ground.

Chaos breaks loose as both sides shoot at eachother.

Bodies dropping.

I run out of ammo.

Shit.

I hide, seeing as it's only the blonde boy and I left.

"Where are you, brown eyes?" he asks, his voice getting closer and closer.

I go to move my foot out of sight but end up knocking over a metal rod.

"Ah, I see," he smirks, walking over.

I cover my face, preparing for the worst.

"Look at me," he says.

I can tell the gun is pointed at me.

I slowly lower my arms and look him in the eyes.

"Beaumont," he smirks. "relay a message to your father for me.. 'Pay or pay'."

He grabs my chin and pulls me up so that I'm standing.

"As far as you go," he says, searching my eyes. "We'll be in touch. Soon."

He then pushes me away and I drive back home, in silence.

A few weeks after I explained everything to my father, a lot of weird stuff started happening.

Nothing too crazy, though.

I just felt like I was being watched

We were eating breakfast when the bell rang.

I open the door and see the blonde boy.

I learned his name was Andrew.

"Step out and close the door," he says.

I do as told.

"Now, listen carefully. You're going to get in the car. No questions. We're going somewhere for a while," he says.

I nod and we both get into the car.

I look out of the window and see a piece of paper taped on our front door.

I wonder what it says...
