You heard a commotion on the other end of the school corridor and walked over curiously.

"You're worthless."

"No one wants a skinny boy like you."

You saw a group of bullies picking on and kicking the new boy in your class.

Taking a deep breath you pushed your way through the crowd that had gathered around them.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" you glared at them.

"Aww look Changkyun, I think this girl has a crush on you. Why don't I beat both of you up so you can go to the medical room together?" one of them grabbed your arm and swung his fist at you.

You immediately ducked under his fist and twisted his arm behind his back.

"FUCK!" he cursed and tried to free his arm.

"Ooh shit Youngdo you just got outdone by a girl." another bully called Woozi sniggered.

You shoved Youngdo into the lockers and stepped forward to kick Woozi in the nuts.

"Not fair, that's an auto win by kicking a guy in the nuts." he groaned and held his private parts.

"There's nothing fair about kicking a new guy about either, I'm just playing your game." you smirked. "I may be a girl but I've got a black belt in karate and I actually know how to fight unlike you boys who just throw your fists about for the sake of it."

You turned to Changkyun and held your hand out, which he took gratefully.

"Thank you." he whispered to you and you led him through the crowd who were staring at you in awe.

When you turned the corner away from prying eyes you immediately turned and looked at him worriedly.

"Are you okay? Do you need to see the nurse?" you inspected his face.

He smiled at you and shook his head. "I'm okay, I think they did more mental damage than physical. I'm used to being beaten up but I hate being put down with words."

You nod in understanding. "Don't listen to them, people who do that are just insecure and see you as a threat. Besides, take it from me - you're pretty cute. Much more attractive than those bullies."

"Th-thanks." he blushed. "You're in my class aren't you? I noticed you on the first day."

"Yeah I am." you beam at him.

"I-I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me?" he looked at you shyly and bit his lip.

"I'd love to." you hugged him gently, making sure not to hurt him.

"Awesome, put your number in my phone and I'll text you the details later." he handed you his phone and you put in your number under the name '❤️ Y/N ^-^'.

He chuckled as you handed him his phone back and he saw your name.

"Y/N, that's a beautiful name, it suits you."
