“(Y/n),” his voice shakes slightly, his eyes determined despite his voice betraying him, “I'll get you out of here. Mother will be making your favourite fish curry, and she'll be making it super spicy, just the way you like it. We will all sit and watch all your favourite Western TV series.”

He stops for a moment as he sees you smiling, your eyes welling up, before continuing. “He will pay for it. He will definitely pay for it.”

The two of you get informed that the time for visitors is over, a sob getting caught in your throat as he says, “I love you. I'll get you out of here.”

“I love you too, Justin. Tell Mother I miss her.”

Walking out of that hell of a prison to where his four wheeler is parked, Justin couldn't help the lone tear of anger mixed with sadness from slipping down his cheek before angrily rubbing it away. His sister is in the prison while his mother is trying not to lose her marbles.

He stands a step away from the driver's side before his hand hits the hood of the car out of anger, and desperation, trying so hard to get his family back on track.

I'll get you out of here. He will pay for this.

As Justin gets in the car and starts the engine, he grips the steering wheel hard.

I'll make sure he pays for everything.

In the next moment, Justin turns on the music, his face losing the red colour of temper and covering itself with a plastic smile. “Were I actually going to lose my composure just like that?” Justin shakes his head while smiling in mockery, “wow, you really do make me crazy, Xukun.”

Looking at the white crisp envelope lying next to him on the passenger seat, Justin runs his fingers on the steering wheel, the logo of Summit Publishing House on the left corner reminding him of his motive, a part of which also includes him to make use of his face, the innocent eyes, the glasses and the soft everlasting smile.

Looking once back to the way leading to the prison, Justin smiles again, his hands forming fists against the steering wheel for a moment before driving in the opposite direction, where he can imagine his Mother lighting his favourite scented candles and waiting with a smile on her face to welcome her son after hearing the news of his appointment.
