Flashback to last year
At the hospital

"Sofia!!"He said as he gave her a weak smile. She walked over to his bedside and placed her hand on her boyfriend name mike.

"Mike..." she said as tears streamed down her cheeks."why are crying princess, you know it hurts me to see you cry because of me". Mike said as he used his thumb to wipe away her tears.

His cold, icy hand always comforted her. But not today. He knew it was going to end soon. They knew the end was coming.

They knew he had no chance of surviving the kidney transplant for his friend due to his sickness. But he still insisted on doing.

The doctor had warned them before that mike would not survive the transplant. But mike had insisted to donate his kidney saying that he was already dying anyways.

The doctor had arrived and the nurse were getting mike ready to bring him to the operating room.

They wheeled his bed down the hallway to the operating room and the doctor and the nurse left them alone....

To say they last goodbyes...

She looked over to face him one last time.

"This won't be our last goodbye right,mike?" She said as she choking up.

"Of course not,we'll see each after again as soon as the operation is done". He said while holding his tears back.

Sofia could tell he was lying. Mike knew his body well. He knew that even if he didn't do the tranplant he would've still died of his sickness.

She held his hands in her and clutched them real tight."where should we go after you're healed then?" She said ... trying to give herself some hope.

"Lets just stay together." He said as he slowly pat her head. "we could maybe go to park and wait for the first snow of the year to came like last year." As he said that, a rush of tears rolled down her face.

"A-a-alright!" She said while trying to fight the wave of her tears that were threatening to fall.

"C-c-can you promise m-me that we'll be together when the first snow arrives?" She said

"I promise." He said as he took my pinkie with his."no matter what, i promise we'll be together." Said mike.

He flashed sofia a sad smile as she flashed one back.the nurse came out and wheeled him into the operating room.

"Y-you PROMISED!" She yelled out while tears streamed down her face uncontrolably.

"I promise" she heard him said faintly right before he entered the operating room.
