*Finn's POV*
How could this day get any better? School wasn't even out and I already had five girls' numbers. I am the man. Senior year is going to be great! Sixth period rolled around and I couldn't quite contain myself! After school, the gang was heading to the first party of the year! All the football players were gonna be there and a ton of the cheerleaders too.... ;) I ran into someone and knocked all their books from to the ground.
"I'm so sorry" I blurted out and looked at the mess I had created. I bent down to pick it up for her. She was retrieving a paper that had flown into the fence.
"It's okay." She whispered, "I should of been paying attention." I finished grabbing the papers and handed them to her in a neat stack. She was beautiful, like a model. "No, it-it's my fault." I replied taken aback by her beauty.
She was obviously the new girl everyone was talking about because I had never seen her before. She blushed but didn't reply. "Sorry again" I muttered, putting my hands in my pockets. "It's fine really" she stated, putting her papers back in her bag. I just stared at her dumbfounded "I-I'll p-pay you back." I said, finally finding my courage. I smirked and grabbed my pen out, scribbling my phone number onto her hand. I nonchalantly walked away.
*Florence's POV*
My, my, what did we have here? I caught Finn flirting. Haha Everest is so gonna hear about this!
I made it to my class just as the bell rang. "Florence!" Everest squealed, as I slid into my seat. "Be quiet or Mr. Blauvelt will kill us." I replied. "He'll just throw a white board marker at us." She shout-whispered, before a marker flew by our heads. "Ladies, shut your mouths this instant." Mr. Blauvelt yelled. The rest of class went by in a flash, before I knew it the bell was ringing, indicating that school was out.
I walked down the hall with Ev, thinking about what she had said at lunch. We walked in silence but it wasn't awkward, we both seemed lost in our own thoughts. "Are we going to the party tonight?" Finn asked as he met up with us at my car. Breaking me from my thoughts I replied "What else would we be doing tonight?" As I pulled out of the parking lot, I decided to bring up the topic of lunch,"maybe Ev's right." Finn looks at me surprised. I look in the rearview mirror and see Everest with the same expression on her face. I continue with what I was saying "Let's make a pact to try new things and really find ourselves before the end of the year." Finn still has the same look on his face. Everest pipes up "I'll agree to that! It will be fun." We both look at Finn expectantly. He just stares at us and then finally concedes. "Fine I'll do it!" Then our regular chatter resumed and everything seemed normal for the most part.
*Everest's POV*
We arrived at the party and I hopped out of the jeep, flattening out my dress before stepping onto the curb. Florence and Finn looked at me and we all shared a knowing smile. I had promised that I would drink at least one alcoholic beverage and get rid of the goody two shoes image I had upheld since kindergarten. I wasn't feeling so excited for it, but both of them were. The house was packed and the party was already in full swing. Music blasting from speakers and masses of bodies swaying to the beat. Florence immediately elbowed her way through the crowd going towards the kitchen.
Finn grabbed me by the shoulders "loosen up Ev. Tonight will be fun if you stop worrying so much about doing it. Here come with me." He led me through the maze of people and to the drinks. Pouring some strong smelling liquid into a red solo cup and handing it to me, "If you're worried about a guy taking advantage of you, don't. I'll be looking after you the whole night." I gave him my we both know that's bullshit look but I took the cup anyway. The drink felt warm sliding down my throat and I almost gagged, but I managed to swallow fine. "See you're alright. Drinking won't hurt you." Finn reassured me. "Yeah. One drink won't do much." I retorted. Florence came waltzing up, "I see goody two shoes has become little miss bad girl." She spun around once. "Dance with me Ev." I let her lead me onto the dance floor. "Hey, Nemo? Sure you're sober?" I laughed and began to dance. I let my body move while I slowly let my worries go.

After a few more drinks, some beer pong, and dancing my ass off, I found myself feeling the need for a little fresh air. I motioned to Florence and Finn that I was going outside. I staggered to the sliding glass door and successfully opened it.
Yes! Fresh air!
I swayed to the railing of the porches steadied myself. I didn't feel too good. I felt like throwing up. I groaned.
"You okay there?" A voice cut threw my thoughts. I turned in surprise to see Sebastian. I went to reply and instead turned towards the edge of the balcony and hurled over the side. "Well that answers my question." He chuckles softly. I turned towards him again, this time actually speaking. "I don't feel too good. I'm gonna go home" I took a step and tripped over my own shoe causing my whole body to crash into his chest. He caught me with his arms. "I don't think you should be going anywhere in this state." He looked at me seriously. His eyes are dreamy and I can practically feel his blood pulsing through his muscle. Damn, he's cute. I want to kiss him.
I close my eyes and lean forward on my tiptoes, lips pursed. Our lips don't meet. He pulls away "Woah there, vomit comet. I'll take you home." I giggle in response and try to take another step past him but fall right on my butt. "Ouch!" I whine and pick myself up. Sebastian comes to my aid, "Slow down. You're gonna hurt yourself. You're too drunk to walk. Let me help." He lifts me up into his arms and I giggle again.
Why is he so cute?
His muscles around me feel nice. His blue eyes gently wash over my face like water. His black hair falling into his eyes. I close my eyes and feel like I'm floating.
*Finn's POV*
I've lost Florence and Ev in the crowd but I don't mind. This girl won't stop feeling me up.
I promised Ev that I'd look after her.
But I can't remember where she is.Thoughts swirl around my head. I feel dizzy but I stumble around the room. I bump into someone and twirl around. It's Florence "Hey Nemo." I manage to say. My mouth feels funny. My lips and tongue aren't really listening to me. She smiles up at me "Have you seen Everest?" I smile back.
She's kind of cute with that goofy smile.
"No I haven't." She replies and I nod. "I think I'm gonna take a nap. I'm completely pooped. Don't worry! I'll lay on my side so I don't choke on my vomit in the middle of the night." She laughs and turns to go. My brain is too fuzzy to comprehend what she said.
I turn back to where I was headed and spot a cute girl leaning against the counter. She's hot in that short red skirt that shows her long tan legs and black top that hangs off her shoulder. I practically drool as I approach her. "Hey, I'm Finn." I slur in her direction. She laughs at me and doesn't reply, instead she moves closer and leans to whisper in my ear. I can tell she's drunk too. "I'm not gonna be seduced in to giving you what you want, honey." I'm shocked that she would say that because those weren't my intentions. "I.. Uh.. I.. Um.." A deeper voice joins the conversation. "You need to leave her alone" I look over. My fellow teammate, Parker. "I didn't mean anything. I just introduced myself" I explain.
Crap! This was the girl he was talking about.
He shoves me and I fall over. My vision blacks out.
