"Enjoying the party?" hiding her mischievous smile. I knew that one.

Frowning at her I looked around then sighing as my eyes set back to hers. "You know I don't like parties."

"Don't start with me, Aria." my grip tightened on her waist.

"Totoo naman." she rolled her eyes and made a halt from our sway.

"Those women were years older than me. At mga kaibigan sila ng anak ng Contessa, what do you want me to do? Ignore them like disrespecting the Italian Countess?" not to mention those tycoons and senators heiresses. "Where that stupid jealousy coming from? You are my fiancee for Pete's sake!"

She pouted and met my eyes. "Wala kang nagustuhan sa kanila?" there again, the little girl's fear over her favorite doll to be taken away look.

I heaved a deep sigh and shook my head. "How many times do I have to tell you that your are the most special girl in my life?" looking at her intently. "You know I don't believe in love, well that are men in general." shrugging off my shoulder. "But if ever I'll let myself fall, it will surely for you."

Aria's not helping sometimes. Minsan nakakapagod na ang mga pagseselos nya. But then she's still my fiancee and my soon to be wife.

I surveyed the whole place, you could easily tell how much the host of this spendthrift banquet wasted her money to arrange a huge room to become glamorous as this. It almost significant as well at the Irret Castle, the ancient Greek-theme castle that later on I learnt was belonging of my late mother. And now, it was under my name. It was a family heirloom that every woman of their family had gotten the full manage of the castle and passed it to her future daughter. But since it was supposed to be given to my sister, that now was gone. That old man, Amer Graziano decided to give it to me as a wedding present.

"You're frowning. Wanna share it what you were thinking?" pukaw sa akin ni Aria.

Napakurap ako ng ilang beses at saka palang napatitig sa kanyang mukha. She looked close to get pissed. Am I making her feeling annoyed?

"Nothing. I just need a drink." tumigil na kami sa pagsasayaw at inalalayan siya paalis sa aming pwesto. "You can go around if you like, I saw your friends over there." nakita namin kanina ang ibang kaibigan niya na miyembro ng mga mayayamang pamilya at imbitado rin sa bulwagang ito. Even my other relatives were here, including her father. And being my wife means danger.

"It's alright. I'm fine here."

I preferred too, that she'd just around my arm extent. We were not sure about the surroundings if there were no enemies and danger. Which the latter would never be cut out of my name, it would always stuck to me like my inked on my body.

It was more dangerous now that I started the La Mattanza, we all in red alert for killing those bastard. My men have my blessed to kill them, whenever and wherever. And this would never stop until we get fully avenged the fallen members. And that would be if I killed him, Marko La Nostra and his heir.
