Chapter 3

weeks later

it's been a lot for seventeen. we are starting to work on our new album, and that's been pretty good. miyoung has been quite the sunshine with seventeen, she likes to lie around the dance studio or produce music room while we work.

flashback

me and seungcheol were working on the track for the leaders. "yeah...yeah this is good"i say listening to the song, i turn to seungcheol's spot and i see he's looking at something, i turn in his direction and see miyoung lying on her back babbling.

"she's so adorable!"seungcheol says and i smile smacking his head lightly, "come on cheol, we gotta finish"i say.

flashback end

today i was in the studio with jihoon, wonwoo and miyoung. jihoon wanted me to do a demo of the song in my voice, wonwoo was with miyoung. as i finished singing my phone went off, i held it up and pointed at it and jihoon nod as i answer.

"hi dad!"i say, "hi sweetheart. how are you?"my dad asked. "good, just working on some songs for the album. is everything okay?"i ask, "oh well i'm doing a survival show with some rookies. they just met jaebum and jinyoung, and another idol they love is you. i was wondering if you could come over and meet them"my dad says.

"yeah, i can. how many are in the group?"i ask, "at the moment 7, but their were two more members before i eliminated them. they are going to do a show to determine if they'll be a group of 7 or 9"my dad says. "that's interesting, okay! i'll be over soon"i say. we say our goodbye's and head out.

"hey guys, my dad needs me. can i go out?"i ask and jihoon nods, "come on miyoung"i say taking her from wonwoo's arms. "wait. you're taking miyoung with you?"wonwoo asked and i nod, "yeah. i'll be okay"i say grabbing miyoung's bag.

i enter jyp and people greet me. i pass by got7 and twice's dance room, as i walk pass both doors open. i turn and see the whole group, "i'm guessing you wanna see miyoung?"i say and they nod and they all come say hi to miyoung. she took a liking to them quickly.

i told them i had to go and leave to go to the trainee room. i knock on the door, i slowly open the door and immediately saw camera's. i look over to see 7 boys all together, they noticed me and immediately started greeting me formally.

i smile and do the same, "hi there"i say. "it's nice to meet you all. i'm park jiyeon and this little cutie here is miyoung"i say and they wave at her she giggles and turns away. "so i hear you're the new rookie group to debut"i say and they nod, "that's great! so... not to sound rude, but who are you guys?"i say.

they all stand in one line and do their greeting, "hello we are stray kids"they all say and i smile. "i'm chan, i'm the leader. i've trained for 7 years"he says, "oh your the kid that bam bam talks about!"i say and he chuckles and nods.

"hello, my name is woojin. i'm a vocalist"he says, "hello. my name is seo changbin, i'm in charge of rap"he says, as i looked at him he seemed intimidated, but from wonwoo i could tell changbin isn't that intimidating.

"hi there! my name is hyunjin"he says, woah! those visuals! me and mingyu can't relate to the visuals. "hi there! my name is han jisung. i'm another rapper!"he says excitedly, i giggle. "my name is seungmin, it's nice to meet you"he says and i smile.

"oh, i'm jeongin. i'm the maknae of the group, i-it's nice to meet you"he says, awe he's so cute! "well it's nice to meet you all. and i heard that their is two more members?"i ask and they nod. "one is minho and one is felix"chan says and i nod.

"well then, what would you guys like to know? want me to tell you? i'm open to anything...okay maybe not everything"i say and they laugh. "what is it like to be the only girl in a all boy group?"jisung asked, "being the only girl is quite hectic, that's all i have to say"i say.

the boys laugh, "how can we show jyp that were best as a group of 9?"chan asked and i thought. "mmh... it's mainly improvement and really showing jyp that bond you guys have as 9 members, kind of showing him that theirs something missing without the two members"i say.

we ended up talking a lot about everything. i took a liking to chan, changbin, and hyunjin. miyoung took a liking to jeongin, jisung and hyunjin. at the moment miyoung was playing with jeongin, "is there anything you'd like to tell any of the boys before we end?"the staff asked.

"uhm... yeah, i'm excited for your debut. i hope you guys end up having nine members because from what i've heard you guys have a lot of potential as a group of nine then seven. i hope we can be closer in the future because i really like you all and miyoung seems to have taking a liking to your maknae"i say and the boys laugh and jeongin plays with miyoung.

soon after the camera's cut and i talk a little more with the boys. i got to learn their interest and dislikes, learned more about the group and who they are. i even got to learn about felix and minho, miyoung started to whine and i sigh. "that's my cue to leave"i say picking up my child.

"i'd like to get all your numbers though. i was very seriously about the keeping contact thing"i say and they nod giving me all their numbers. i thank them and they thank me for coming and i leave. i really like them, i have a good feeling about them.
