jeongguk stepped aside, motioning for jimin to come inside. "how do you know where i live?"

"i guess you could say a mutual friend."

jeongguk raised a questioning brow.

"yoongi and namjoon hyung are friends, so i may have asked him where you live."

jeongguk stared at him in disbelief before turning and shuffling towards his room. "so, where are we going?"

"ice skating."

after jeongguk changed into something warmer they took jimin's car to the ice skating rink, the ride was silent except for the quiet radio and occasional questions asked. when they got to the rink they grumbled at each other before jeongguk eventually gave in, letting jimin pay for him and grab their skates.

"have you every been ice skating?" jimin asked him as they tied up the skates.

"once when i was little, i wasn't very good though."

jimin nodded as he stood up and offered a hand to jeongguk, pulling him to stand when he took it.

they carefully stepped onto the ice and jeongguk immediately clung to the wall, feeling like a new born deer learning to stand for the first time.

"come here!" jimin laughed, eyes disappearing as he extended his hand.

jeongguk shook his head. "no, i'm gonna fall."

"no you won't, i promise i won't let you fall, cmere." jimin held out his hands palms up and wiggled his fingers.

jeongguk thought about it for a minute, figuring if jimin lied and did let him fall, then he'd just drag jimin down with him. with that thought jeongguk reached out, taking jimin's out stretched hands and let jimin pull him away from the wall.

"ok, now turn your right foot just a little bit and gently push off."

(don't @ me i don't actually know how to ice skate since i've never been — lulu)

jeongguk did as he was told, tightly gripping jimin's hands as jimin skated backwards pulling him along.

"see, you're doing fine! just keep doing what you're doing and alternate feet."

jeongguk let jimin pull him around for a little bit as he tried to get the hang of it.

"i'm gonna let go now, ok? i'll be right here."

jeongguk's eyes widened and he scrambled around trying to grab jimin's hand and jimin just smiled, slowly skated backwards as he watched the younger man wobbly skated forward towards him.

everything was going fine until jeongguk's skate hit a crack in the ice, he lost his balance and started flailing his arms around. jimin was quick to grab onto jeongguk but it was already too late, he fell and pulled jimin down with him. jeongguk hissed, closing his eyes as he made contact with the ice.

when he opened his eyes, he was met with jimin laying on top of him wide eyed, they both stared at each other before breaking out into giggles. catching his breath and reigning in his laughter, jimin watched jeongguk who was still giggling, his eyes twinkling and a wide smile that showed off his cute little bunny teeth. the blonde hesitated for a moment before slowly leaning in, giving jeongguk time to pull away if he wanted, and pressed his lips to jeongguk's soft pink ones.

and just like that, they had their first kiss on the floor of an empty ice rink, it was one of many that they would share that night.
