"Mena, the party will be so fun! You never go out and this is your 18th birthday!" Jayden pouts
"I know I just-...I just don't like partying that much, Netflix is all I need sis" I say enlarging the last word.
"Nope, I refuse to let you not do anything, get up! We're throwing a party and I'm inviting Austin and his crew and other people." Jayden says
"Fine! Now will you please leave me alone?" Mena says getting up from her chair.
Jayden started to call everyone she knew, and posted where the party would be on her story, though I didn't even want a party and much rather be in my bed watching To All The Boys I've Loved Before, for the 100th time.
We get up and drive back to Jayden's place for the party. "Shouldn't we have like..food?" I say. "Well yeah I guess, but who eats when there's free booze?" Jayden says which makes me smile and laugh. We pull up to her apartment complex and there's already a bunch of people in the parking lot. Jayden escorted them inside and hooked up the aux to her phone and played my favorite songs. There were about 30 people already in the place.
But there was someone who caught my eye, he walked in with his friends, one of them being Jayden's boyfriend. He had blonde dreads, he was super tall, light skin, and was just so fine. I walk to the door to greet them. "Hey Austin" I said hugging him. "Happy birthday you little rat!" He jokes. I lightly punch his arm and call Jayden over. "So you aren't gonna introduce me?" I say curiously while staring at the mysterious guy. "Oh my bad!" Austin says "I'm Brandon, happy birthday by the way" a cute guy with glasses says. "I'm Nick" A guy with almost a jersey accent says with a smile. "I'm Edwin, happy birthday" a dude with a fire outfit says. "I'm Zion, happy birthday by the way, it's lit" He says with a smile.
"Hey, and thank you guys" I smile with a cup of beer in my hand. I walk off to Jayden's room to smoke a blunt.
