Chapter 7- Parents

All I could think about was my parent's death no matter how hard I tried to focus on school I just couldn't. Jungkook leaned over and whispered in my ear "Hey are you okay?" He asked sounding concerned. I looked over at him and smiled "Yeah I'm fine just distracted that is all." I told him trying not to cry. Then the bell rang dismissing us to lunch "What's got you so distracted?" He asked as we got up out of our seats Tae and Jimin joined us before we started walking. "The death of my parents it's all I can think about." I told them as we walked to the cafeteria. Jungkook grabbed my hand and held it. "I know how you feel when my parents died a few years ago I couldn't stop thinking about them." He told me trying to help "Your parents are dead!?" Tae and Jimin both asked turning around to look at Jungkook. "Yeah a few years ago in a plane crash. The engines blew up and there was nothing that could have been done. There were no survivors." Jungkook told us. 

"Oh dude I'm sorry I didn't know." Tae said looking sympathetic. "Its fine I'm better now." He told Tae as we came to the lunchroom. I looked over at Jungkook "Are you going to sit at our table?" I asked him as I grabbed a lunch tray. "Yeah of course as long as the others are okay with me being there." He told me as we began walking toward the table with my six best friends were seated. "Its okay with them or at least most of them." I told him thanking back to how Yoongi acted this morning. The table was round and sat eight people so we filled the table up. I sat down beside Jin who was sitting beside Namjoon for obvious reasons. Jungkook sat between me and Jimin. "How is everyone's day?" Jin asked us all. Everyone answered with goods and okays. After about 10 minutes into lunch I had to use the bathroom. "I'll be right back." I told the guys as I got up from the table and went to the bathroom.

~Jungkooks POV~

"I'll be right back." Y/N said before getting up and leaving the table. "So Jungkook what do your grades look like?" Namjoon asked me when Y/N left "A's and B's I've never failed anything." I told Namjoon the other guys just looked at one another. Y/N came back and sat at the table. "Can you cook?"Jin asked me which made me let out a slight giggle "Yes I can cook" I replied to Jin  "Do you live alone or with family?" Yoongi asked me. "Well I live alone since my parents are dead." I told them Y/N hand grabbed my hand under the table. I looked over at her and smiled then turned my attention back to the guys. "So do you have a job?" Hoseok asked me still eating. "No, I don't my dad gave me his company but I can't work there until I turn 18." I told the orange haired boy. "What company?" Y/N asked me I turned to look at her. "It's a company that designs the inside of houses and often house flips the house." I told her rubbing my thumb over the back of her hand. She looked like she was about to say something when I heard. "Wait so if you don't have a job and you live on your own how are you paying for your house?" I look away from Y/N to look at Yoongi who had asked the question. "My father had everything planned out in case something was to happen to him and my mother. He opened a bank account and only so much goes in each month until I turn 18 and inherit the company." I told Yoongi

Then the bell rang telling us lunch was over. As we were walking down the hall Y/N grabbed my hand intertwining our fingers together she looked up at me and smiled. I leaned down and kissed the top of her head. "Your cute princess." I told her as we entered the classroom. A light blush appeared on her cheeks and she put her hands in front of them to try to hide it. I took her hands away from her face and kissed both of her cheeks. "I like when you blush it makes me happy." I said to her as soon as I was done telling her the whole class erupted in an "AWE". Which only made her blush even more. I chuckled and threw my arm around her and walked over to our seats. 

 ~Your POV~

The rest of the school day went by pretty fast. Tae, Jimin, Jungkook, and I were walking out of the school to meet the rest of the boys. All the guys got in the car saying their goodbyes then drove away. Me and Jungkook go in his car and drove off. We came to my driveway he pulled in and we got out of the car.  I walked upstairs to my room to change clothes. I put on a pair of dark blue leggings and Jungkooks hoodie. I walked back downstairs Jungkook was sitting on the couch facing the TV. I walked over and sat down beside him hooking myself with him. "What do you want to do?" I asked him laying my head on his shoulder. "You want to watch a movie?" he asked me. As I was about to answer 'sure' I heard a knock at the door. "Hold that thought." I told him as I got off the couch to go to the door. When I opened the door there stood a man holding a briefcase in his left hand. The man looked to be in his late 30s to his early 40s, he had on a grey suit with a blue tie underneath and had green eyes and blond hair. "Hello are you Y/N Y/LN?" the man asked me. "Yes, and who are you?" I asked. "I'm Ryan Webster and I am your parent's power of attorney." He said sticking his hand out to shake my hand. I grabbed his hand and shook it. "Oh, please come in." I say standing aside allowing him entrance to the house. He followed me back into the living room where Jungkook was waiting. He sat up when he seen Ryan behind me. "Ryan this is my boyfriend Jungkook, Jungkook this is my parent's power of attorney Ryan Webster." I told Jungkook as he got off of the couch to shake Ryans hand. "Nice to meet you." Jungkook said releasing the man's hand. 

We all sat down and Ryan started talking "Im so sorry to come before calling or something first, but its best to talk about this sooner than later. Ryan began talking about alot of things that I didn't understand. I only caught a few things here and there something about a 'lump sum' that I can have after I graduate high school. "Okay, I have a few letters for you from your parents they wrote them before they passed. I'm very sorry for your loss Y/N." Just the thought of my parents writing to me made my eyes water. Jungkook laid his hand on my knee I placed my hand on top of his and smiled up at him. 

I looked up at Ryan and asked "Can I have the letters, please?" Ryan got into his briefcase and pulled out a letter "Oh yes of course here they are." I take the letters and open it.

Dear Y/N,
                  If your reading this it probably means that were dead. There is something that we haven't told you. There is a savings account that has your name on it and can be open when you graduate from high school its a huge amount of money but me and your mother want the best for you. here is a lump sum of 100,000 is waiting for you that should help pay for college and everything that you need in life. Since we're dead you will get all of our assets along with our home and the money that is left in our bank account. We are so sorry to leave you by yourself. We love you with all our hearts we hope you can forgive us for leaving you.

I hadn't realized I was crying until a tear dropped onto the paper. I looked up at Jungkook and laid the letter on the coffee table in front of me. I grabbed a tissue and wiped my tears away. I looked over at Jungkook and we has looking at the letter from my parents. I picked up the letter and laid it in Jungkooks other hand. "You can read it I don't mind." I turned back to Ryan and asked "Is there anything that I have to do?" He looked up at me and smiled "There is you just have to sign here and I will give you all the papers and information that you'll need." I nodded and Ryan gave me a stack of papers that had X's along the places that I needed to sign. I signed my name where I needed to and handed the papers back to Ryan and he handed me a yellow envelope. "I'll leave you to it then." Ryan said as he stood up. I stood up with him and said "I'll walk you out." I say as we walk to the door. Ryan walked out of the house and to his car and drove off.

A/N: I AM SO SORRY!!!!! I know I haven't been updating this story I feel so bad. I've been so busy with school and everything but luckily I'll be on spring break soon and ill be able to update more then. I do appreciate all of you all who have been reading this as I update this.
