My day started out like every other day well almost. Something was of I could tell. Well for starters I couldn't find my lucky cardigan. I don't know where I could have misplaced it.... I have this weird feeling that today is going to be one crazy day. Aside from the constant hunt to find my sister Jamie I haven't been in much of a party mood lately. A few months ago, my older sister disappeared without a trace. People are saying that she ran away because she didn't want the responsibility of taking over the business for my father, but I know my sister and I know she wouldn't have just left without so much as a goodbye to me. I have to find her myself. I'm Amaya Johnson and since I was a child I was always taller than the other kids. well freakishly taller than the other kids and to top it off I could see things; things others couldn't see things one shouldn't see. My mother thought it best that I didn't tell anyone what I saw so I didn't but that didn't change the fact that I did see them. And still do and now that Jamie has gone missing it has gotten much worse. I sometimes get these little glimmers of what happened the night she left and the things I see kills me. The first one happened while I was at work it took all of my energy just to finish my shift. I know that she and my father were arguing that night for whatever reason. All I know is that it got very heated, and my sister left to cool off. I'd never seen my sister so mad she looked like she was about to explode I never thought that would be the last time I would see her, so I have been on the hunt to find her ever since. I want answers and I won't stop until I get them, I sit down sighing in defeat trying to figure out where I must have left it. I grabbed a quick snack and right before I was about to leave, I dropped some glaze on my blouse so without having time to find another outfit I settled for my Armani blouse and skirt, both gifts given to me for my 16th birthday two years ago by my big sis Jamie "Aha found it" Now where are those shoes. I look around and spot my black pumps. As I grab them, I groan in disgust. They are covered in drool and the heel is broken. I yell "Max you are in so much trouble" She whimpers from her luxurious dog pillow. I drop my head "God can this day get any worse". I shuffle through my closet and stumble across a box marked 'Happy Birthday Yaya' I smile at the pet's name my sister gave me and nearly rip the box while I open the paper. When I open it, I find all black Jimmy Choo Pumps that me and Jamie were admiring in Cabo. I put the shoes on, smile to myself and silently thank Jamie for the invasion of privacy. I will find my sister I just hope I'm not too late. I grab my keys and purse and head for the door. Ready for whatever comes my way.
