"You're staying with us for the night!"

My jaw dropped to the floor "What?"

"You're staying here for the night!" Chrissy said, a huge smile on her face, "Isn't that fantastic?"

"Y-Yeah, it is," I stammered, suddenly remembering my parents, "But my parents..."

"Don't worry," She waved her hand, "I've taken care of it all!"

"How!?"

"That's our Chrissy," Sam said proudly, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and ruffling her hair.

She huffed and shoved him off, "stop treating me like a child!"

"You are a child to me!" He laughed and it sounded, kinda, nice?

I laughed and a memory flashed through my mind.

Flashback

"Hey, come here!" Eleven year me gestured the redhead standing alone in the corner of the playground.

She had long dark red hair that was held back by a blue bow headband that Serena had given to her as a gift the day she came to Carter Manor. It had been really messy that day, but Mom had fixed it over the days. Her crystal blue eyes still looked dull; I really wanted to take that dullness away and bring some shine into those lovely orbs. There was a teal dress draped over her small, petite body. She had been really pale before, but by now, her skin had gained a rosy tint. She had been covered in nothing but ragged clothes the first day. In all honesty, she was really pretty, but she'd look even more prettier with a smile.

She quietly shook his head. Jax lightly placed a hand on my arm, "Forget it, she's not coming."

"Oy, I called you! Come here!" I shouted, waving my hand at her.

"No," She said in what was a barely audible whisper, "I'm fine." And just like that, I lost it. I stood up, brushing the dust off my jeans. I walked over to her, my hands clenched at my sides.

I placed my hand on the side of her head roughly, my fingers intertwining with her hair. She let out a gasp and her fingers immediately reached up to wrap around my wrist, her lips trembling.

"You coming, or what?" I hissed.

The nine year old looked down at her feet and murmured, "I'm sorry. Please forgive me. I'll come."

My hand immediately let go of her hair and I gently ruffled it, "Don't mention it."

I grabbed her wrist, "Now come on." I led her to the spot Jax and I were playing in.

Jax looked at her and raised an eyebrow, "So she came?"

"I'm sorry, but we haven't been properly introduced," She said, her fingers fiddling with each other nervously.

"Jax, this is Christine. Christine, this is Jackson, Jax for short."

End of Flashback

I know; young me was a massive bipolar jerk.

I looked at Cherry as a smile grew on her lips.

"That sounds wonderful," She clapped her hands together.

"Oh, and you and Sam will be sharing a room," Chrissy turned her head around to look at her. We both shared the same state of  shock.

"Please no!" Cherry shrieked. I pulled on my copper hair, "Why!?"

"But we've already set a bed there. I understand, Cady, but it's gonna take some time to get a room ready for you," Jax comforted. We both let out groans.

"On the bright side, it'll be practice for when you're officially married!" Chrissy squealed with delight, spinning around on the wheeled chair she was sitting on.

"Yeah, bright side," I heard Cherry mutter.

And for once, I agreed with her. Serena, you little brat...

I huffed, crossing my arms, "Fine. I'll share the room with her."

"I knew you would," Jax chuckled.

"Shut up."

"So Cady, how did you and Sam meet?" Chrissy said just as he was about to speak. Her elbows were on her knees, and her chin rested on her intertwined fingers.

"We study at the same school," Cherry replied. A half-truth that was.

"No, I know that," She waved her hand, "But like, how? I know that Sam here is the mean jerk of the school."

"Hey!" I shouted, clearly offended.

"But what about you? Hope you don't mind me asking."

"I was his punching bag," She shrugged.

Chrissy gasped. Then she turned her steely eyes to me and growled, "We'll be having a talk about that later, Samuel."

"Yeah yeah," I mumbled.

-----

After a while of talking and laughing, I was finally sleepy.

I got up and grabbed Cherry's wrist, pulling her up with me as well, "Come on, let's go to bed. I'm sleepy."

I started to climb the stairs and she followed.

"Just remeber not to make babies," Chrissy called after us.

"Yeah, like I'd ever have babies with him," Cherry rolled her eyes. (*laughs hysterically*)

"Couldn't agree more." (*laughs like a deranged maniac*)

Hey guys!

I had so much fun writing this chapter!

How are you all?

I'm good.

How was the chapter? Any theories?

I know some of you may start shipping Sam and Chrissy, yes, I ship it too. But they both have other ships... you'll see later.

Bye!
