chapter 14 - Everything is Awkward

Alexander Humphrey.

"Dude have you even spoke to she devil?" Matt asked

"One her name is Olivia and two no." I sighed as I hopped onto the subway and made it into St Judes.

"You've got to talk to her." Matt nodded and I shrugged. "Did you like the kiss?"

"Of course I liked the kiss. But then again I'm Olivia's boyfriend but Caitlin...I don't know it just felt..different." My blue orbs glanced over at Matt.

"Your in a bit of a dilemma bud." Matt laid his hand on my shoulder.

"Thanks for reminding me." I looked up at St Judes as I entered the gates, Straight away I saw Olivia. "Oh god.."

"Just tell her." Matt nodded.

I whipped around and looked at him. "I don't exactly want a death wish."

"You already had one from the start." Matt chuckled and I punched his shoulder.

"Haven't you got somewhere to be?" I asked.

Matt looked at me dumbfounded.

"Brooklyn.." I informed him.

"Oh damn it!" Matt groaned as he looked at the time. "Good luck with she devil." He shouted before running off. Jeez what would he do without me.

Straight away my eyes connect with Olivia's. My head whips around as I quickly try to avoid her.

"Hey Alex..." She says but I ignore her and walk off.

A confused Olivia stands as she watches Alex leave.

"Well that was weird." Olivia spoke to Kara.

"Looks like somebody doesn't want to talk." Kara spoke as Alex walked away.

On the other end of St Judes, A confused Alexander Humphrey was sitting on the bleachers when Caitlin -- The girl from the rave.-- Approached him.

"Uh hey Alex. I don't know if you remember me." Caitlin started but Alex cut her off.

"I remember you. Don't worry." Alex informed her with a friendly smile.

"So.." Caitlin spoke awkwardly.  "About the other night."

"Yeah about that." Alex started but Caitlin but in.

"I get it. It was a mistake you have a girlfriend,  it's okay I get it." Caitlin spoke with a hint of sadness in her voice.

Alex stood up and shook his head. "No infact it wasn't a mistake I don't know what it was but I've never felt anything like what I felt with you. "

"Really?" Caitlin asked.

"Really." Alex nodded then a few moments later his lips crashed onto hers and they started a heated synchronized kiss.

Somewhat inside of Alex a rush of fireworks spread through his body as his lips moved in synchronization with Caitlins.

After a while the two teens pulled away from each other so they could regain there breathing.

His deep blue ocean coloured orbs stared into the warm golden honey brown ones of Caitlins.

"I was not expecting that." She admitted as a soft chuckle escaped her soft pink lips.

"Neither was I." He chuckled as he put both of his hands on either side of his hips.

Then as if on cue to ruin the moment the ring of the school bell echoed out onto the pitch.

"See you around Alex." Caitlin said her goodbyes before departing his side and heading to her next class.

"See you around Caitlin." A small smile appeared on her lips as she left my side.

It was now break and Matt and Brooklyn joined Alexander at their usual table.

"Well don't you two look happy together." Alex chuckled as he took a sip of his water.

"She Devil." Matt sang in a sing song voice and Brooklyn hit him on the arm.

Alex's head turned around as Olivia and her minions walked over. She grabbed Alex's collar and pulled him up then she looked at him then kissed him. in front of the whole school might I add.

"W-what was that for?" Alex asked as he was just slightly confused.

"Well other than the fact you've been avoiding me all day made me do some thinking. Did I do something wrong? Then I realised something that I am in love with you." Olivia spoke and everyone gasped including Kara.

"Yes that's right, I Olivia Baizen are completely and utterly in love with Alexander Humphrey." She grinned and everyone clapped.

"This is usually the part where you say I love you too." Matt whispered to me.

"I love you too Olivia Baizen." Alex nodded with a grin.

But did he even love Olivia?

Or was everything just a lie?
