Antonio woke up the next day with a serious hangover headache

"Anne, pour me a glass of water, my head won't stop drumming."

His request was met with complete silence. The realization that Anne was no longer around hit him hard. It completely caused him to be sober at once. His phone rang with a familiar melody ... it was Stacey.

Excitedly, Antonio answered the phone... "Is your sister back, is she with you right now?"

"No Antonio, Anne hasn't returned yet."

"Then why did you call me?" all his excitement suddenly evaporated into thin air.

"Well, today is my birthday, and Anne's as well. We always celebrate our birthdays together. There is going to be a birthday party tonight, so I'm sure Anne is going to come."

Antonio was astonished. Anne's birthday? He didn't even know her birthday. Damn! He was such an asshole. So Anne was going to be around tonight? His excitement was back at the thought of that.

Quick! He checked his time. It was a little pass 2. He had to pick a present for the ladies. He got into the shower, took a quick one and was dressed in no time and ready to step out. He rushed to the jewellery shop to pick up the present. He pointed to an exotic and stylish platinum diamond necklace with small inconspicuous cut diamonds surrounding it. At the sight of the necklace, he could only think about putting it around Anne's neck. He picked out a bracelet too for Stacey.

The shop attendant wrapped both gifts up and he was on his way.

Getting to the family house, he saw a lot of celebrities and expensive cars parked outside.

Wow! The place did really look great with all these bright lights. Stacey came to meet him and laced her hands through his as soon as he stepped into the room

"Antonio dear, you were able to make it for my birthday party, I'm so glad you could come."

She was dressed in a revealing lace white sleeveless dress with matching pearl earrings.

"Happy birthday Stacey" Antonio said as he handed her birthday gift to her.

"Thank you!" she coyly said.

"Where's your sister?" is she back? Antonio asked, while looking through the crowd to see if he could locate her. The glow on her face suddenly disappeared, but she forced herself to smile as she quickly replied:

"Oh! Don't worry Antonio, she is not in yet. But she will definitely come, the night is still young. And besides there is no reason why she wouldn't show up for our own birthday party.

It was almost the end of the party and Antonio had scarcely given her any attention. He seemed distracted by something on his mind. Looking forward to seeing Anne, she supposes.

"Ha-ha" Stacey could not ignore this sound of laughter even if she wanted to. She could recognize the ridicule hidden behind it. She turned around in the direction of the laughter to see an elegant and classy looking Alice in a dazzling black dress.

"What are you laughing at?" She asked

Alice took her time and in graceful strands, walked towards Stacey. Stacey was pretty, but she was nothing compared to the outstanding 1.78 feet curvy Alice.

"Miss Sunny is asking me what I'm laughing at."

Stacey was taken aback. No one called her Miss sunny these days. It was a childhood name she acquired because she always put up a bright smile when people were around to try to get them to like her, hence the name miss sunny, then Anne also became Miss Anne.
"You asked me what I was laughing at, I'm going to tell you. To say that today is your birthday is definitely true, but today is definitely not Anne's birthday. Her birthday was 10 days ago."
