Chapter 1

Riley's pov

I woke up, my body was covered of sweat, don't worry Riley it was only a horrible memory... oh let me introduce myself, I am miss Riley Patrick and I am 13 years old I have sleek blonde hair, blue eyes, I'm very tall for my age and I have won a trophy for the most prettiest out of the whole orphanage, yes I said orphanage. from birth to age 4 I was living with and abusing mother and father, they would abuse me one way or another *A.N. Sorry for one direction reference their😂🙌* after the would get drunk and high, it was a nightmare but now I am living in Miss Nate's unisex orphanage. Today is the day any that people get adopted, I probably would as from the 9 of living here nobody as taken any interest in me.. maybe today will be different??

"Come on girl and boys lets line up" okay stay calm, people who wanted to adopt started pouring in the doors and chiding children they wanted to interview to be their child and guess who HASENT been picked yet?? Well done, its me. An averaged aged woman with brown eyes and blondish hair came up to me

"Hey, what's your name??"

"Ri-l-eyyy" I stuttered

" Pretty name for a pretty girl" she gave me a hug and walked away. well then-_- but that hug was amazing I have never had one in ages!!

20mins later

Karens pov

When I was in the orphanage I saw a beautiful girl called Riley? She was the one so I decided to ask jade Nate about her

"Excuse me, Jade I would like too adopt Riley" I asked politely

"Sure but I would like to tell you that she has had a horrible past of being raped and many more horrible things, oh she is also an amazing singer, maybe you should ask her to sing sometime" jade said

"Oh well I would never hurt her like that!" I assured her

"I'm sure you won't... let me go and get her" Jade said while walking out the room

Riley's pov

'You' call me up, it's like a broken record saying that your heart hurts,yeah you will never get over him gettin over you and you end up crying then I end up lying cuz I'm just a sucker for anything that you do' I started to sing, I love 5sos so much especially Luke

😍😍😍😍😍😍 I started to daydream about him until someone knocked on the door

"Come in" I shouted and in came miss Nate looking fairly happy

"Would you like to come down stairs, you might get adopted" once I heard that I completely froze,who wants to adopt me maybe it was that woman who was speaking to me earlier?? I slowly got off my bed and started packing my stuff.. this is my new life...
