April Bridgestone marches into her daughter, June Bridgestone's, room to find her crying and drenched in sweat. Her body temperature was at an abnormally high reading of 95. "Jonathan, I'm calling a doctor!" Immediately, Jonathan Bridgestone appeared at the door and protested, "What? No no no never!!" "Jonathan, we need to help her....." "She can help herself and you know it!" "But we need to tell her...." *Ring* June's phone rings and they scramble to the door to listen in.
"Hello........Oh. Hey Jay..........No i'm fine...........Ok hey J.T..........Yeah i'm home..........No sorry, i'm not feeling too good.......... I know I've been away but summer just started............J.T you gotta understand...........I'm not gonna fight with you especially over the phone..........Don't even think of............J.T!!! J.T!!!! Aaaaarggg!!!"
The last sound was of the phone being thrown at the wall and falling on the floor.
"April, I think she has enough to deal with at the moment." "You're right. So how long do you think she
will be like this?" "I guess by tomorrow, but the rest we have to wait till the full moon." "And when would that be?" "I don't know. Why don't we let her rest and research about it." "Sure that sounds like a really good idea." By this time June had already cried herself to sleep. The two crept away leaving the situation as it was.

"Someone decided to finally get out of bed." "J.T I told you I was sick" "You mean love-sick" Jay Thompson chuckles at his statement. "You big jerk!" She pushes him to the side and he stumbles. "Hey sick people ain't supposed to shove!" June rolls her eyes as the two walk into the Gumper's residence where they were invited to Maria-Ashley's Sweet 16 party. The house was already packed and the music was over the top.
"Hey Maria. Great party." J.T said as soon as he saw Maria running down the stairs. "Thank......" Before she could finish her sentence, a figure appeared at the top of the stairs. "Maria, Keren told me you wanted some sugar, so here it is." He flopped down the stairs in such a way that looked like it was in slow motion. "Sorry, can't talk fat ass nigga after me. Hey June, remind me to kill Keren!" And with that she was off with the giant of a boy after her, shaking up the whole place.
"Well, she's got a handful down her throat." He giggles. "Get it. Don't tell me you don't get it!" He stops trying and looks in the where June was facing and had just froze. "Uhm, Ju? Whatcha staring at?" Out of the window, he saw dark clouds covering the moon. "June, are you ok?" He touched her shoulder and she gasped and blinked wildly. "Yeah, I'm good. Let's go have a blast at this party." And with that she was off. "Girls, I'll never understand them."
Just then, a 17 year old girl walked up to him holding two glasses of some kind of alcoholic drink and started sedduccing him. "Hey pretty boy! Why don't we go share deep dark secrets!"She said it too sarcastically but J.T just replied, "Sorry, I'm gay." And he walked away, leaving the girl struck by bewilderment.
Meanwhile, June was on the balcony staring at the sky. Deep in her head, she heard voices, talking in a language she had never heard before. Out of her head she sensed two huge body masses coming towards her. She turned around abruptly to find two huge masses walking towards her holding their manhoods. "You look like you're not high enough!!" Cornered. June hated parties with college boys. All they wanted was the pleasure of doing it with a pretty teen. Get away from me!" She said furiously and punched one in the stomach. The punch was an unnatural one, as that boy flew across the balcony. The other boy ran to help his friend, and the two ran back into the house. June's perfect blue eyes had turned into a mixture of red and a bit of lime green. She ran and locked herself in the bathroom, and came out 15 minutes later, her eyes back to their beautiful blue color.
As she went back downstairs, she found that Maria's brothers had set up a truth or dare scenario. The circle looked full but Ronald, Maria's eldest brother, caught hold of June and pulled her into the circle saying, "Thank God I thought I would have to give someone else your spot!"
The lights were switched off and candles around the circle lit up. The bottle was spun and landed on its first victim. Ronald asked the boy, "Anthony, truth or dare?" " Dare....no no truth....no wait!" "Too late, dare it is!" Ronald turned, showing his back to them. He looked like he was consulting unseen spirits, which for some reason June could see. They instructed him on what to do. When Ronald turned back to the teens, June snapped back to reality. "I dare you to make out with...............the birthday girl!!" June didn't like the dares that could be given. She started to calculate the possibilities of escape:
ATTEMPT #1
Excuse myself to go to the bathroom, then jump out of the window.
"Lame!"
ATTEMPT #2
Randomly stand up and walk, no run away.
"Are you trying to get yourself killed?"
ATTEMPT #3
Just stay and wait till the end of the game.
"Now you are being ridiculously-stupid!"
Weird thing is, June was not the one judging her suggestions. But she didn't know that. During all this, she had already missed the whole make out scene. The bottle was spun again, but this time the candles went out. In all that darkness, June could see lime-green eyes and some sort of movement around the eyes. She wasn't sure if she was the only one who could see that. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath ad when she opened, she found she could see clearly in the darkness, as if she had night vision goggles in her eyes. Most of the teens were either enjoying deep make out sessions, others had either fainted or fallen asleep and others were just plain scared.
"It's time to go!" A voice echoed in her head. Instinctively, she stood up and walked hurriedly to her car, where she met up with J.T. "Where were you?" "You know, up and about!" She shook off the question as she briskly got into the car. "What's up with you?" "Nothing. Come on, get in!" She had already buckled up and was waiting for him to close the door. Once the door was shut, she started driving. 'Something's not right here, and I'm gonna find out what it is.' She thought to herself.
