Aaron's screen lit up in his gym locker as he was changing into his basketball uniform.

He took the black device and unlocked it to read the message.

"Yo! Hurry before coach kills us." Zayn urged him, waiting at the door of the locker room.

Aaron nodded, pulling his shirt over his head.
" 'Kay, just a sec. It's Regina."

Jeremy smirked, patting his best friend's back. "Chick can't get enough of you, huh?" The American boy nodded his head, mirroring the German's smirk cockily. "You know it."

Finally looking down at his phone, he read the text the blonde had sent him.

Sorry, can't make it today. Raincheck?

Aaron's eyes almost bulged out of their sockets. He couldn't believe it. Never, not even once since the start of his glory days had anyone ditched him. He shook his head, trying to play it cool.

Yeah, sure.

Jeremy looked at him skeptically. "You okay, dude?" Aaron just showed him the text, then turning the screen to Zayn so he could see it too.

"Bummer! Look at the bright side tho! We can work on the whole boy-cred thing tonight!" Jeremy tried to lift the boy's spirit. Zayn shook his head. "Let's go. Some basketball will make you feel better."

Aaron gave the two a lousy nod, throwing his phone in the locker and slamming the door shut behind him.
Girls were a point ahead of them already...

And the game hasen't even started!

Things had to change... And soon... Or else Aaron would be back where he started, at the bottom of the food chain.

The gym was packed when Gemini stepped through the heavy navy double doors. She didn't know it was even possible for this many girls to get there so fast. Coach left the gym like five minutes ago and the bell has rang for what, seven minutes max? She looked around at the girls sat on the bleachers, standing around, or sitting on the two small cream-colered side benches.

"Gemini, over here!" Nina waved her over to where she sat with her younger sister, Penelope. She smiled at them, nodding and heading over to sit with them.

When seated, after hugging the girls, she craned her head around, looking for the brunette who had arranged all this within twelve minutes.
"Where is Riley? She here yet?"

Regina, who was fanning herself with her hand, let out a huff of air, answering the ginger. "Nope, been waiting for her forever! And it's hot, the air in here is unfiltered, and smells like sweat and all sort of stinky smells!" She whined, which was responded by quite a few hums of agreement.
"I don't know what was so important that she got us all to cramp in this...place,but if she doesn't get here in like, five minutes, I'm leaving! Like not even code red can stop me."

It was then that a loud screeching noise informed everyone that the gym's speakers have been turned on.

And soon a fairly deep voice started talking.
