We see our hero Jaune practice with his slugs creating new combos and technics and a few new fusion by meditating that was taught to him by Ren so he can sense the slugs energy and he can compare them together without the need of an Enigmo slug like Eli but it take a little more time to Sense there power and it's harder to compare them if there farther apart so it has its draw back.

"Oh man I'm exhausted what about you guys" the arc asked to his slugs as they laid there with him on the ground panting after going for so long training as they agreed they could go for a rest and maybe a bite to eat.

We now see jaune along with Ruby and Velvet as his slugs enjoyed a pancakes with slug food mixed within.

"Hay jaune how come Winter,Blake and Pyrrha got slugs and we don't
I want a slug friend" ask/whined Ruby as she to wanted a slug friend of her owe.

"Well you didn't ask and I'm not sure what slugs could fit your fighting style maybe a Hoverbug for you and a fandango for Velvet as hoverbugs Focus more on speed and fandangos can re-energize aura as I know Velvet semblance takes a lot of." answer jaune

"Is there any way we can get a slug of our own" asked Velvet as she was actually somewhat jealous as the girls in his second team got to be with him 24/7 if not in a group they would go in pairs and that girl got to be with him all night till they go back to beacon and from what he's told her only Winter and Blake did that and she was afraid what might happen if Pyrrha got to be alone with him so she needed to join fast.

"Sure I'll give my team, the rest of Ruby's team and your team a slug I could really use the help" said jaune as he wasn't sleeping as weal as would have been natural it's because was of Diablo and the dark bane they would go for revenge the first chances they got but since they ran away in their first encounter he suspect someone was helping them and it was driving him nuts to the point he can barely sleep.

" oh by the way Jaune do you know who your fighting and the first single rounds" asked Ruby

"yeah I heard it was going to be against Sun for the first round and for tomorrow I don't know" answered jaune as he was hoping to use one of the new fusions he created. That was until they heard an explosion off in the distance.

"DAMNIT NORA" jaune thought in his head as he hoped it wasn't what he thought it was.
