Friendly Reunion

*What she is wear when she goes out.*

Zoe was sleeping, dreaming of past memories that went through her mind. Memories of her sister, her family, the things that she has done through the years of turning. She woke up to the sound of her phone ringing, She tossed and turned till she finally gave into to the annoying ringing. When she saw that it was an unknown number, she groaned and picked up the phone.

" Hello?" She said sleepy and rubbed her eyes, she looked around the room waiting for the voice to answer back.

" Zoe?" The voice said back. She froze as she recognized the voice on the other end, it was deep and had a british accent.

" Elijah?" Zoe asked stunned to hear the voice she hasn't heard in years. She had a bad feeling cause of the call. Zoe had no idea for why he would be calling.

" We need you again, meet me at the cafe." The voice said then hung up.

She looked around then groaned and turned to then fall off the bed. She then got up and started getting dressed thinking that it would be good to get some coffee. She got worried with why Elijah called her out of the blue. Zoe had a very gothic yet hipster style so she picked out a black leather skirt, a gray crop top with thin straps and a burgundy cardigan. On her feet she put on black ankle boots with heels and she put on a few chokers with a necklace Elijah gave her for her 100th birthday. She was grateful not being human, her feet didn't hurt so she could wear heels all she wanted. Zoe walked over to her bathroom and braided her white hair in two. Finally she put on a beanie and grabbed her purse next to the door and walked out locking it behind her.

Zoe lived in the big apple, she didn't have a big job or anything she was just a waitress at a small dinner down the street from her house. After she found out what she was, over her years of being alive, she just wanted her normal life back. When she was settled down in england, she met Elijah she thought he was just a normal human then she saw him drinking blood from a human. Then somehow from their similarity of them both not being human and misunderstood, Elijah become her number one best friend. Zoe never met any of Elijah's other siblings because he always kept them away from her scared for her safety. Little did he know she was one of the original hybraids just like Klaus, but she never told him that. Zoe only told him that she was a werewolf. She hasn't had a vision of death in years since 1992 but that was years ago.

Zoe finally arrived at the cafe Elijah wanted her to meet at. She already knew where to sit, when ever Elijah wanted to meet her. She hasn't seen him for a few years now since she saw him on her trip around the world. She sat next to the window so he could be able to see her. Zoe started thinking about all the times Elijah has been there for her so she really owes him right now for everything. Elijah was the one who showed her new york on a trip that he took with him and his siblings. She never saw them during the trip, Elijah just showed her around the city and bought her a few things even though she said no. He loved to spoil her as if she was his little sister.

She saw a waitress walk over to her table and put a latte in front of her. She looked confused as to why this waitress put this in front of her.

" Hey , I didn't order this" Zoe shouted at the waitress who gave it to her.

" True, but I did, " The voice caused her to freeze and look up to see who it was.

"Hello again." Zoe found out that the voice was Elijah which cause her to squeal and jump up.

" Elijah!" Zoe screamed which cause the whole cafe to look at us, he spinned her around and finally placed her on the floor with his hands still on her waist.

" It's so good to see you again." Elijah said with a smile on his face.

" It's good to see you too, how are you?" Zoe asked with a smile on her face too excited to see him. They finally let go of each other and sat down in their sits. Zoe noticed that Elijah grew his hair out since the last time they saw each other. She took a sip from the cup, having the warm contents in her mouth.

" Is it good?" Elijah asked scared it wasn't what she wanted.

" Of course it's amazing just the way I like it." Zoe answered

" So how are you?" Elijah asked

" Elijah as much as I'm happy to see you, I'm really curious as to why you called?" Zoe said wondering what was wrong.

" It's Klaus, He is on this whole mission on trying to change the curse of the sun and moon. He told me that I can get whoever I want to help, so I thought I would grab my best friend in the world Zoe." Elijah stated with a smile at the end.

" Elijah I never even met Klaus in my whole life time of being on this earth, why would i help him?" Zoe said taking a sip of her drink.

" Because you love me and want to have a new adventure in your life?" Elijah said with a smirk on his face, looking at Zoe.

" 'lijah as much as I love you like a brother, I have a job and a life. I can't just leave." Zoe said looking at Elijah sadly

" Zoe, you can leave this life whenever you want, come with me and go on an adventure." Elijah said with hope in his voice. Zoe looked at him, thinking about what to do about the situation. When they made eye contact, she finally knew her answer to his question.

" Well, I do like an adventure." Zoe said with a smile. Elijah's eyes perked up and he smiled at her.

" Splendid, let's go to your home and get you clothes to take with you." Elijah said. He jumped up and started to walk out of the cafe. When he saw that she wasn't following, he looked behind him and said " Aren't you coming?" Zoe jumped up and ran over to him. She linked their arms together and they walked to her house which was not very far from the cafe.

Zoe was scared, she didn't know what was going to happen with the whole Klaus and cruse thing. But she knew that Elijah would protect her every step of the way. She finished packing her bags and followed Elijah out the house, she locked her door and said goodbye to the home she wouldn't see for a few. She grabbed Elijah's arm and set out on her new adventure with him by her side.
