Since he was little, Adoni had lived in the camp. Everyday, he was given meager rations to eat, just enough to stay alive. Every single day, someone from his group was taken away, for testing, the people said.
He was detached from them, trying to stay afloat in the cruel world. Yet, he had one friend to stick with, the one that kept him afloat everyday. Jay.
"Yo Adoni!" he yelled out in his direction. Adoni scrambled to go meet him in the mess hall.
"Hey, Jay. Why did you have to call my name so loud? I have good ears, I can definitely hear you. That was really rude." He was thankful that he knew Jay though. He would otherwise be on lots of other people's bad side, because he was a troublemaker when he was with Jay. Jay was more outgoing and adventurous, but Adoni had the smarts and always got them out of trouble. They were the Dynamic Duo, the Duo of Destruction, Talkers of Trickery, and many more things.
"Just making sure you could hear me, as you would've probably been stuck in your book, as you are always." Well, of course Adoni was. He read books to imagine being one of them, on an adventure, instead of being holed up here and just waiting for his life to be brutally ripped away for a crazy dictator's war. He knew it would come eventually, and one day, it finally came.
He was awoken from his slumber, and started being dragged. He started to try to fight, but knew it was futile, of course. They would take him away, with force if needed.
He was strapped in a tube (like in Luke Cage. It's on Netflix).
"Okay boys, which one is to try today? Today is going to be a good one, the Electric Spider idea. We need to open it up, wrap him up in webs, and electrify him up."
So they did exactly that. As he was surrounded by the webs, he wondered if he would go to Heaven, and if he would even make it there.
Then the intense agony came. The electricity went through all his bones, he could feel it in every part of him. He was ready to die, if only the pain would stop coming, but it came and came and came.
"Turn it up more! See if he'll survive and be the weapon, or die and we get another dead one."
He was going to die, he was sure of it. He tried to raise his hand, but it fell.
It started to blow. Small at first, but more and more, until it all blew up.
Adoni came to. I couldn't even make it to Heaven? Now for all eternity, I'm in hell. But then he realized he was in the smoking remains of the room he was in hours before. He took some clothes, and ran to see if anyone had survived, but either they were dead, or already had escaped, but Jay was nowhere to be found. He realized he needed to get out of there and somewhere safe, like an orphanage. There, I could get a job in a few years and move to a different country, make a new life. He ran out of there, and decided to make a new life. But he did want to try something before he left. He pushed his hand at a wall, and thought to have a web leave it, and one did. He actually had powers.

(Jk I'm not ending here of course)

5 years later

"Okay, we have a fix on his position. We're going to either kill him, or have him in our school. He's either a great enemy, or a great ally. He has healing he doesn't know of! He can help us stop this government!" Somnium spoke, excitedly.
"Okay, okay, but first we've got to go recover him, okay?" Elizabeth said, trying to calm her down.
"I'm moving to him now."

"Adoni, there is someone here for you," said the receptionist as she knocked on his door. He walked downstairs, extremely confused. Why would someone be there for him? He walked up to the person for him. It was a tall businesslike woman.
"Hello, Adoni. I have heard much about you, and I would like for you to come to our school, for your good grades. Think of it as a scholarship. I'm Ms. Sobel," the lady said. Well, who was he to decline?
"I accept your scholarship."
"Come into the car with me and I'll explain it all in the car."
So they walked over to the car, but as they were on the road, she nodded, and he was knocked out.
