Darwin's POV
It was the last period of the day and only 10 minutes left of class, and then WINTER BREAK!! (I know it's a bit early for winter break okay... leave me alone) "Okay class you guys can use this time to talk to each other or, whatever." the teacher said, I looked over at Gumball as he began to walk over to me, then some asshole tripped him, Gumball tried to catch himself on the desk in front of him but his arm slipped and instead he hit his head on the desk, I ran over to him. "Gumball, are you okay?!?" Gumball was crying and his ears were flat against the back of his head. "C-Can you take me to the nurse's office, p-please?" "Yes, Gumball, one sec." "O-okay..." I walked over to the asshole that tripped Gumball. "Hey, Asshole!" I said, and the room went quiet... Herc: "Who are you calling 'Asshole', Twink!" it was the new kid, and I didn't like him. "D-Darwin" "You tripped my brother on purpose, and I am not gonna let that slide!" *SLAP* Herc: "Don't you dare talk to me like that, Twink!" He slapped me... I hesitated for a second, then I kicked him in the nuts. "Don't you dare even touch my brother ever again, c'mon Gumball I'll take you to the nurse."
Gumball's POV
I had a scar on my head, it didn't hurt that much after putting a bandage and ice pack over it, the scar wasn't that big, it was only like an inch, so I and Darwin lied saying that our mom always pics us up, even though she doesn't anymore.
I felt a little light-headed so we sat down on a bench near-by. "So your 100% sure that you're okay?" Darwin asked. "Yes, Darwin. I'm fine, I'm 1000% sure." with that, we went home and told mom and dad, they said to just be careful, so to me it wasn't that big of a deal. "Do you wanna do something?" Darwin asked, as I sat next to him on the bed. "Well, yeah, just one thing..." I said, blushing, "well, what is it?" Darwin asked, looking at me with a smile. I looked at him, and kissed him shyly on the lips, he didn't hesitate kissing me back.
