Tell No Lies

                    Angel's Pov
"Helloooo" I sung as I entered the house from school

"I'm in here baby" I heard my ma's voice coming from the kitchen

I walked in the kitchen and grabbed me a water from out the fridge

"Hey ma" I said as I gave her a kiss on the cheek

"Hey baby, how was school today ?" She asked while looking through the bills

"I mean school is school. You've been staying out of trouble ?" I asked with sternness in my voice

"I'm trying my best baby, don't worry about me" she said while putting the bills down to look at me

"I'm sorry ma I'm just worried that I'm gonna lose you for good one day." I said as my eyes got watery from thinking about my dad.

                   {FLASHBACK}

I understood the game since I was seven years old so when I get older it's my time to shine

"I gotta make a couple drops right quick princess I'll be right back." My dad said bending down to my height

"You promise ?" I asked while holding my pinky out

He looked down for a split second then grabbed my pinky with his "I promise.......I love you Angel and never forget that, you hear me ?"

"Yes sir, please come back" I pleaded

"I will"

About 1 hour went by and I was in the living room watching Frozen. All of a sudden my dad comes busting through the door.

"Get in the closet" he yelled frantically

"Daddy, I missed yo-" he cut me off mid sentence

"Get in the fucking closet right now Angel" he yelled. He never cussed at me so I knew something was wrong. I ran my lil ass in the closet and closed the door. Being as nosey as I am, I cracked the door open wide enough for me to see what's going on.

"Fuck" I heard my dad yell as he pulled a .45 from his waistband while gunshots was heard in the distance. He was walking towards the door as the gunshots got louder. All I seen was my dads body hit the ground. Tears filled my eyes as the guys that shot him checked his pockets then took off running.

            {FLASHBACK OVER}
"He's in a better place now" my mom said knocking me out my flashback. I just nodded and walked upstairs.

I took a shower and lotioned up. I put on my Victoria Secret underwear and bra set then threw on a big t-shirt. I did a quick prayer for god to watch over me and my ma then hopped in the bed.
