"A Memory"

We used to be kind of friends,

but now we are so much less.

There is no more casual, "Hi."

Now, it's only a quiet, "Goodbye."

There is no more laughter,

no more happily ever after.

Where once there was a small alliance,

there now exists complete silence.

The friendship that you had with me

is now but a memory.
